Brio Strings
Students in the Brio class are in Grade 3-5 and displaying intermediate level skills on a Bowed String instrument, and typically would be graduates of the Allegra (Beginner) String class, studying with a private tutor, or playing a string instrument for more than a year.
Brio students are introduced to increasingly complex ensemble concepts and technical expectations.
Learning Expectations for the Brio student:
Gain confidence in performing and increase knowledge about music techniques and concepts.
Engage in teamwork and cooperation by working together to create and perform Instrumental music.
Refine listening skills, improve organisational skills and develop better eye and hand coordination.
Develop and refine personal skills, habits, and processes for success in learning music.
Commitment:
Course = 90 minutes per week
Personal Practice = 60 + minutes per week
