A VW eLab is a designated space in the school where we can all come to put classroom learning into applied practice. It provides a real-world experience for students. We have all kinds of impressive tools that students and teachers can come use to prototype and revise solutions toward a goal.

The great poet William Butler Yeats once said, “Education should not be the filling of a pail, but the lightning of a fire.” Innovative teaching does more than just “filling the pail”. Hixson High School hopes to ignite a passion for learning and provide students with the tools they need to be successful in the future.
