Welcome to our Year 9 Options for 2025.
The site contains course descriptions and links to examination boards offered for Key Stage 4. We hope that you will find the site informative and that it will help you to make important decisions about the next two years of your education. Our aim is to provide you with as much information as possible to support choosing your Key Stage 4 subjects.
Key dates
Friday 6th December 2024 - Year 9 Students Options Assembly and Options website launch.
Wednesday 29th January 2025 - Year 9 Options Evening 4.30pm - 6pm at HBS.
There is a presentation in the Main Hall at 4.30pm which will be repeated at 5.30pm. Subject teachers will also be available on a drop in basis. This evening is for Parents and Students.
Wednesday 5th February 2025 - Year 9 Consultation Evening via School Cloud and Options Forms 'go live'.
Wednesday 12th February 2025 - Final submission date for option choices.
Summer term 2025 - Option choices confirmed to Students.
