The Next Generation

Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus name I pray:

I thank You that You have a plan for the next generation, a plan that was set in motion before they were even formed in their mothers' wombs. You know them, You’ve set them apart, and we are humbled to be stewards of Your purposes for them.

Thank You for providing all the resources and strength we need to equip, encourage and empower them!

Holy Spirit, I ask for Your presence in the lives of the next generation. May they be fully dependent on You, leaning on Your guidance at all times. They will experience Your help in their learning and growing, and they will dwell in Your grace from morning till night.

Pour out Your grace so that they will truly know and believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was resurrected, and defeated death.
They will remember that it is only because of Christ’s sacrifice that they can live in the Holy Spirit.

They will confess that it is not by their own righteousness, but by Your grace, that they are worthy to receive all things!

I declare that the next generation will live for Your glory in Christ! They will trust in Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
They will recognize the authority of Your Word and make it the foundation of their lives.

The Word of God will be the standard by which they live, and their lives will reflect the truth and power of Your Word!

They will gain a deeper understanding of Your Word, and Your grace will multiply upon them, making them excellent in all they do.
Their lips will be filled with wisdom, their discernment sharp, and they will find favor with those in authority and those around them.

We declare that the next generation will be hardworking and faithful in all things.
We will teach them Your Word, guiding them to live lives of faith, and they will excel in the field You have called them to.

Like Joseph, they will thrive and display Your Kingdom, flourishing like a vine full of fruit.
They will endure trials and training, emerging strong and established in Christ.

The blessings spoken over them will manifest in their lives.
We declare that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation will increase in them, in Jesus’ name!

Thank You Heavenly Father that You are working in this situation right now by Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus name. AMEN!
