Community Facility Assessment Team

The Community Facility Assessment Team (CFAT) committee was made up of community members and staff who met numerous times to evaluate and discuss options for HISD facilities before the School Board called a May 4th bond election.

CFAT's Charge

Serve in an advisory capacity to the School Board and Administration on a temporary basis regarding the topic of facility planning and capital needs.
Keep students at the center of all recommendations.
Maximize the district’s fiscal resources.
