The West Nest
The West Elementary Care Closet, lovingly called the West Nest, is a place where we keep extra clothing and snacks for students who may need a little extra support during the school day.
Our most common needs are:
Individually packaged snacks
Boys’ underwear
Girls’ underwear
Your donations help us make sure our students have what they need to feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to learn. Thank you for helping us keep our West Nest stocked!

There are many ways to serve and support our West Elementary students and staff! Families and community members can help through:
Bobcat Bros – Help support our school community and students.
Copy Parents – Help teachers with copying and classroom materials.
Book Fair Helpers – Assist during the school book fair.
Spirit Store – Help with our school spirit store.
PTO Sign-Up – Get involved with PTO activities and events. Click here
Before the Bell Buddies – Spend time helping and connecting with students before school.
SBDM or Other Committees – Serve on a school committee and help make decisions that support West.
PTO Rock – Support PTO projects and activities.
There is a place for everyone at West! We would love to have you serve alongside us.

Student Lighthouse: Making a Difference at West
Our Student Lighthouse Team looks for ways to make West Elementary a better place by serving others, spreading kindness, and being leaders in our school and community. Throughout the year, our students will participate in service projects and help identify new ways to make a difference. We are always looking for more opportunities to serve!
