Union Church Early Childhood Winter Wonderland
What: Assist with a pre-school holiday activity.
When: December 12, 4-7pm

Clarendon Hills Park District Santa's Workshop
What: CHPD will provide a variety of ways to assist with Santa's Workshop when you volunteer
When: Friday, December 12, 4-7:00 p.m. (arrive as close to 3:30 p.m. as possible)

Downers Grove Park District Handmade Holidays
What: Volunteers will be given a craft/present station where you will help younger kids (ages 5-10 years old), put together and wrap a present for the holidays. Please dress or bring clothing and proper shoes in order to go outside if needed (snow boots, warm pants and extra layers are highly recommended) in case there is time to play outside after the activity.
When: Saturday, 12/13/25, 9am-12pm or 1-4pm

Downers Grove Park District Winter Break Camp
What: Volunteers will help engage kids during camp, gather and setup supplies, clean up at the end of the day and run kids to and from the bathroom.
Volunteers will bring the fun and engage kids while also being extra eyes and ears for the counselors.
Many activities for the day are held outdoors, so please dress or bring clothing and proper shoes in order to go outside if needed (snow boots, warm pants and extra layers are highly recommended).
When: Week 1: December 22nd & 23rd and Week 2: December 29th-31st and January 2nd
Full Day: 8:45 AM to 4 PM
Half Day (AM): 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM
Half Day (PM): 12:45 PM to 4:15 PM

Downers Grove Park District Winter Wonderland
What: Assisting with set up of several stations throughout Lyman Woods, including crafts, food set-up, obstacle course assembling, sleigh rides, and ice carving.
· Volunteers will engage kids and bring the fun while also being a second pair of eyes and ears for the counselors.
· Many activities for the day are held outdoors, so please dress or bring clothing and proper shoes in order to go outside if needed (snow boots, warm pants and extra layers are highly recommended).
When: Saturday, January 31st 9am-12pm or 12-3pm

Infant Welfare Society Food Pantry/Health Clinic
What: Greet and welcome/check in patients, organize food pantry supplies, answer basic questions

Helping Hand Community Connection Evenings
What: Facilitate activities with clients of Helping Hand including playing board games, basketball, karaoke, BINGO, etc.
When: Every 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursday of the month, 5-7pm
Where: 9649 W. 55th Street in Countryside

What: HCS Family Services helps prevent food insecurities and improves the quality of life for those served
Where: various locations, Hinsdale and Willowbrook, depending on what/when you volunteer

How: Fill out volunteer application, and once approved, can sign up for what works for you!
