Algebra 1

In Algebra 1 you will explore how to use letters (called variables) and numbers with mathematical symbols to solve problems. Topics expected to be be covered in this class include:

• Evaluating expressions

• Writing equations

• Graphing functions

• Solving quadratics

• Understanding inequalities.

This class also focuses on a variety of different types of linear or quadratic functions represented in function notation as well as graphed on the coordinate plane.
