While observing social distancing protocols in response to Covid-19, upper school students will NOT be changing for PE and should come to school on PE days wearing sneakers. Students who wish to, may purchase an athletic polo from our Lands End uniform store to wear to school on PE days.
The school dress code is established to provide a community standard consistent with Hilltop ideals: “Respect for self and others.” Accordingly, students are expected to use good judgment and dress in clothing that is neat, clean, and without tears or rips.
Students in grades 1 - 8 are required to purchase a school uniform through Lands End. Shirts, pants and dresses are available in a variety of colors and styles. All shirts must be embroidered with the Hilltop logo. Please note non-uniform outerwear (sweaters, sweatshirts, fleeces, jackets) are not permitted to be worn during the school day.

SHOES:
Black, brown, navy leather or fabric shoes are permitted (ie: loafers, mary-janes, flats or oxfords, Vans, non-athletic sneakers, leather boots). Shoes must be worn and tied at all times.
Not Permitted: Heelys, sneakers, boots (rain, snow, hiking), sandals, slippers, clogs, fur lined Ugg-style boots or slippers are not allowed.
Sneakers should be worn on days PE is scheduled.
DRESS CODE VIOLATIONS:
For Upper School, when a student’s clothing does not meet the dress code, the matter will be discussed privately with the Upper School student and then the parents will be contacted to bring in the appropriate dress code clothes. If there are repeated infractions, a detention may be assigned.
For Lower School, the parent will be contacted first to bring in the proper clothes.
