Technology Program

In Kindergarten, we will begin the year learning about the

how to login to a Chromebook with a Google account and how to access the Google Classroom for assignments and resources. We will become familiar with various online programs that focus on reading and math skills such as ABC Mouse, Reading Eggs, Lexia, and IXL. Throughout the year, we will learn about the importance of Internet safety. We will also focus on keyboard skills with Typetastic.

In First Grade, we will begin using and learning tools that are a part of each student's G Suite for Education apps such as Google Docs and Google Slides. Throughout the year, we will learn about the importance of Internet Safety. We will also focus on keyboard skills with Typetastic.

Throughout the year, we will learn about the importance of Internet Safety. We will also focus on keyboard skills with Typing.com.

In Third Grade, we will continue using and learning tools that are a part of each student's G Suite for Education apps such as Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Forms. We will work in various online programs that focus on reading and math skills such as IXL, Prodigy and Sumdog. Throughout the year, we will learn about the importance of Internet Safety. We will also focus on keyboard skills with Typing.com.

In Fourth Grade, we will continue using and learning tools that are a part of each student's G Suite for Education apps such as Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Forms. We will focus on the importance of being a Digital Citizen by understanding the importance of Internet Safety as well as the role we play in being responsible with our use of technology. We will also focus on keyboard skills with Typing.com.
