Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2020 -2021 Kindergarten school year! I am so excited to meet you and your child. There are so many wonderful things that occur in Kindergarten that they will remember for the rest of their lives!

Kindergarten is such a special and important year. You will see so much growth academically, socially, and emotionally from the beginning of September all the way to the end of June. Academically, our main focus as of now is on Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. I want to build a strong foundation of skills in these subject areas. You will be amazed by the end of the year with all the progress they will make.

It is my goal that your child feels safe and comfortable in my classroom, as well as at Meadowbrook. I want them to love to come to school. I know that this is a unique situation, but I know with your help and support we will make this a memorable year for your child.

Although there may be some challenges we continue to face throughout the year, by working together with open communication we can establish a wonderful year for your child.
