Meet Mrs. Lucido
Hello and Welcome! My name is Mrs. Lucido and I am excited to work with a great group of students and families this year. Get ready and excited about learning in first grade! We have a warm, happy classroom that is an inspiring place to be each day, filled with fun, creativity and hard-working learners!
I have been blessed to work with students (my lovepugs) for over twenty years now. My experience in teaching has been dedicated to working with children in grades K-2. I hold a B.S. degree in Business/ Marketing and a Masters Degree in Education with a Reading Literacy specialization. My unique life experiences and deep appreciation for the performing arts bring our classroom to life each and everyday. I look forward to a great year with everyone filled with personal and academic growth!
Animals: Any and All but PUGS are my true love
Food: Clean eating or Comfort foods- seems to be one or the other!
Hobbies: Tap dancing, crafting, cooking and competitive Uno and Parcheesi matches with my family
Book Series: Kevin Henkes and Diane deGroat book series for kids. I love getting into characters and using voices. Sometimes the pugs even make cameo appearances in videos!
Seasons: Fall and Summer
My husband John and I have a busy home of three children and two dogs! Michael and Gianna are now grown adults who are working and studying towards becoming a Physician's Assistant, respectively. Our youngest daughter Ava is 14, entering 9th grade and is an aspiring ballet dancer and musical theater student. She is always in class or rehearsals. Finally, there's our two crazy pugs who always keep us busy and laughing! You will no doubt hear all about Romeo and Darla all year! I can't wait to learn all about YOUR family!
