Pastor Betty Proctor

I am a native of Tennessee and was raised with a background of missions. My parents were medical missionaries in Palestine for thirteen years and served in East Africa during their retirement years. I became part of the United Methodist Church in 1995 as a volunteer youth director at Pegram United Methodist Church. The call to live out our Christian faith has been a constant in my life.

My undergraduate studies were at Belmont University- with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. I earned a Masters in Teaching from the University of Alaska Southeast and a Masters in Divinity from Asbury Seminary.

I believe in the power of the church to change the world, one life and community at a time. We are disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. I minister with a spirit of invitation for all people and a love for empowering fellow disciples on this journey of following Christ.
