This general course provides an opportunity to explore various aspects of photography. Skills and knowledge will be developed in the following areas of photography: digital camera techniques, photography history, composition, and photo design and production using editing software. Projects will include photographing various subjects: nature, animals, landscape, portrait, story, architecture, action, and more. Students will experience the use of B & W, color print, and digital film for projects. Students are required to have a 6.0 megapixel digital camera but are allowed to use their smartphone cameras.
