Just like the others, Karen has been a member of Project 351 since her eighth-grade year. In her freshman year, she joined the Alumni Organization. Since her junior year, Karen has been a member of the Regional Leadership Team. Outside of Project 351, Karen is a member of the Ambassador's Club at HHS, a field hockey team manager, and on the DEI student voices committee, and Principal's Cabinet, as well as serving as an UNITE mentor for underclassmen. In her free time, Karen enjoys going out for nature walks/runs, reading for fun and enjoys cooking and baking. A few quotes she lives by are, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts" Winston Churchill, and "Nothing brings me more happiness than trying to help the most vulnerable people in society. It is a goal and an essential part of my life – a kind of destiny." -Princess Diana. Something she strongly believes in/advocates for is that failure sets you up for future success, and the importance of overcoming challenges, as she has faced numerous academic challenges during her time in high school but has continued to persevere through them.
When Aryan heard the news of being selected to represent his class for the 2022 ambassador year for Project 351, he was stoked. He always wanted to find opportunities to give back to his community, and P351 idealizes precisely that. He is deeply inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.'s ideals for acceptance and integration. Hoping to create an environment of love, peace, and kindness, Aryan continues serving passionately as an alumnus. He is excited to be part of P351 alongside his fantastic team members! At Hopkinton High School, he is an active member of the Debate Team, HOSA, Science Olympiad, and Biotechnology Club. Aryan is infinitely thankful for the educators who push him to be as successful as he can and grow into a dedicated individual, pursuing his passions. Along with service, Aryan plays the violin, bakes, and snowboards in the winter with his older brother.
