HILLCREST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 1971 FOUNDATION

In casting a vision of ministry at Hillcrest Christian School, we are looking to set up a fund for scholarships for under-privileged students. This is not an athletic scholarship. These scholarships would be solely for academic purposes. As the funds grow, we would also like to start giving two post-secondary school scholarships to Hillcrest graduates based on their exemplary Christian-centered walk. A criteria and process will be determined once funds are available. I would like to see four academic under-privilege scholarships awarded each year (the scholarships will be for one year, and require resubmission each year), and two $1,000 post-secondary scholarships. This foundation will also be responsible for raising funds for the general operations of the school to allow the school to maintain affordable tuition and fees.

ASAP Prayer Warriors

We should Always Stop And Pray. We need people to commit to praying for Hillcrest Christian School. We are extremely excited about our prayer meetings that are being scheduled at the school, but we need to continually pray over the ministry of our school. Please commit to praying during one of the following periods of the day (we are not asking anyone to pray the entire hour, but we need intentional prayer spread through the day): 7:00 am - 8:00 am; 8:00 am - 9:00 am; 9:00 am - 10:00am; 10:00 am - 11:00 am; 11:00 am - 12:00 pm; 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm; 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm; 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm; 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Laborers for Christ

If you own a business or have a trade, Laborers for Christ is a group at Hillcrest Christian School, that will donate time and/or resources to Hillcrest Christian School's maintenance and improvement needs. The vision is also for this group to offer service projects in the community in which our Hillcrest Christian School students can participate.

Hillcrest Christian School has capital improvement plans for our campus.

Project List:

1. Drainage ditch pipe replacement

2. McClure Road fence project

3. Tearing down an awning on the back side of the school, and salvaging the poles to replace damaged poles on other sections of the remaining awning.

4. Painting the school

5. Replacing the baseball retaining wall.

6. Replacing the backstop net for baseball.

7. Replacing the baseball score board.

8. Repairing the softball outfield fence and foul poles.

9. Repairing the football concession storage door.

10. Replacing the elementary gym door.

God has big plans for Hillcrest Christian School and improvement will always need the support of families, the community, and alumni. Please consider what God may be asking you to participate in.
