Every adventure needs adventurers. These would-be heroes are the characters players bring to the table and give life and story.
Dragons in Dungeons uses pre-gen adventurers for all of its campaigns. These characters are created on DnD Beyond with CORE statistics. Once a player claims a character, the adventurer becomes their own for use in the campaign and for life. Once claimed, players then fill out the CHOICE statistics for their adventurers. To refine their adventurer for final vibe, the player will then adjust as needed the CHANGE statistics.
To ensure every adventuring party is prepared for the perils ahead, we use a Adventurer Quadrant System. This ensures each adventure party has the needed stuff. For the party, this balanced party system ensures moderately challenging roleplay, combat, and exploration.
Phase 1: The first 4 players at each table must select a hero from an unrepresented "Quadrant" (Fighters, Wizards, Rogues, or Clerics).
Phase 2: Once the core roles are filled, the 5th player may choose from any remaining hero in the box.
