Jamey Hiles has been in love with movies since he was two.  The first time he saw the Wizard of Oz, he knew he wanted to make movies.  A year or two later (literally!) he fell in love with the Horror genre by watching his first Nightmare on Elm Street movie.

In 2015, Jamey formed HiLa Productions with his best friend, Derrick Lamaster and made their first short together, Cut Off, in 2017. This was followed by Hookman in 2018, I Saw What I Saw in 2020 and most recently Secret Admirer in 2022.

Jamey is a graduate of IU where he studied drama and was a member of the improv group SumAntics.  Jamey has written over a dozen scripts and is currently the co-host of  the Scream Bloody Movies Podcast along with Lamaster and Lydia Judy. 

He is currently in pre-production on HiLa Productions next film, Secret Admirer.
