Mathematics has always shaped and informed how I interact with the world around me. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i and moved to the mainland to attend Harvey Mudd College, a school where I connected with others who were as passionate and curious about mathematics as me. It wasn't until after college that I truly understood and embraced Harvey Mudd's mission statement:
"Harvey Mudd College seeks to educate engineers, scientists, and mathematicians well versed in all of these areas and in the humanities and the social sciences so that they may assume leadership in their fields with a clear understanding of the impact of their work on society."
I strive to create meaningful experiences for all students and adults so that they may connect and influence each other in life and in learning.
