Sea World

Before the trip I was feeling excited since it’s been a while since I've been to seaworld. I was hoping to still enjoy the rides as much as I did last time I was there.

Going into seaworld, my group decided to go to electric eel first. It was me and Tyler in the front row, it started off good and then we were hanging over the drop. Then we dropped, and at that moment I was reassured of how scary the rides are. It was still very fun though so we went to emperor next. Me and Tyler were the last people in my group to get on electric eel so my group went to emperor meanwhile we finished up. 

Me and Tyler didn't really know the directions and Coleman led us the wrong direction but Omar came and found us. We made it to emperor and got in line with our group. 

Emperor was probably the best ride considering I got on it 3 times, it was the most scary but most thrilling ride. When we got on, Sebastian and Kaylum were in the front, Omar was in the middle, and me and Tyler were in the back. Omar said “I'm by myself? That’s colddd” and me and Tyler were like “Noooo.” And I didn’t even know he was by himself. Riding emperor for the first time in a while was definitely scarier than electric eel. It was unsettling but nonetheless still a fun experience. Sebastian said let's go again so we did, this time us in the front. It was Me, Omar, and Tyler in the front. And Sebastian and Kaylum were in the middle. Tyler held his hands up for the drop, so I did too. It honestly made it better, I was experiencing the moment more rather than watching it from my eyes and brain. 

Then I decided to go on a Journey to Atlantis. Then I made probably my worst mistake the entire trip. I boarded the first row with Sebastian. When we were getting ready to take off, Jordan told us, “You guys are gonna get the most wet.” And I should've believed him but I didn't. Then we got to the drop and we found out. From below my waist I was all wet. My shirt and hair too but not as soaked as my pants. Me and Sebastian were like “He was not lying.” Kaylum told us that we would get wet again, but me and Sebastian didn't believe him. Then, we got wet again. Now we were really drenched. 

We could do nothing but air dry our clothes as we walked around in it. 

Later, after lunch. We went to Mantis and that was also a really fun ride. When I got out I tried to find Omar and I stumbled across the stingrays, I stopped only to look at them and observe. I then walked away because I wasn't amused, I also saw the flamingos. 

Sebastian stumbled across a basketball mini game that you pay to play for to win a prize. He paid $20 dollars for 5 shots.

 The worker was nice enough to give him 2 extra shots if he missed trying to show Sebastian how it's done, and he missed. What's funny is, Sebastian didn't make a single one. Me and Sebastian ended up going to emperor and riding it 2 more times, then Omar told us to meet outside of there. We gathered groups and began to leave, it was a good field trip and I was tired for the car ride. The best thing about Sea World is the thrill you receive from the roller coasters. You can't get that anywhere else.

Before the trip I felt normal. I felt like it would be fun being at Sea World since I haven’t been there in awhile. I tried to make the best time being at sea world.

 Before the trip I was expecting that we can only be on one ride because that’s what my teachers were saying to us. During the trip I felt hot. It was very hot there and I wanted to go on rides already because I felt like we were in the parking lot for so long and the rides would cool me down.

 Arving at the parking lot I stayed with my friends because we all were in the same group and got there at the same time so I decided to stay with them because we will be going on rides together in a group. 

I went on the electric eel it was a fun and quick experience because I was going fast and going upside down but that ride is a quick ride so it ended about 7 minutes later, when I first got on it it randomly started speeding fast on the first go, while the coaster started we went up fast and fast back down.

Emperor was a memorable moment. I slowly went up the coaster and we took a little turn and we stopped on a big drop and a few seconds after we stopped we went down really fast like if you're falling straight down off of something, that coaster made me have fun a lot. 

While I was at sea world I saw a spot with multiple sting rays inside the water. When I saw the sting rays I saw people put their hand in the water and try to touch their back.

Me and my  friends went on the same different rides multiple times and even decided to sit in the front row of the coaster to feel the experience. We all found that fun.

Being on the coaster all together is a memorable moment for us. We laughed a lot on the coaster. Before we all would get on the coaster we would run to the line in excitement to get in line first we all had fun doing that.

On my way back to school I felt hot and tired and wanted to shower because there was also a coaster that gets you wet so I felt like I needed to shower because the water is dirty. After school I felt still tired but I got food so I felt better after that because I was hungry during that sea world trip.

This morning I felt tired and wanted to stay in bed but I forced myself to get up and I felt better once I got to school. I recommend you going to Sea World because it has fun fast rides, foods and a fun whale show.

When we first started to walk into the park I was excited to ride on some of the rides. I was a little disappointed with my group though because none of my friends were in it. But Omar told me that I could switch into his group which had a lot of my friends in it.

For the first half of the trip I didn't really do anything. I just walked around with my group and occasionally said hi to my friends if I saw them.

 Then it was time for lunch and we made our way to the lunch area. For lunch I went to the chicken place to eat. The food was all really expensive, which I wasn't very surprised by because it was a theme park and the food is always over priced.

 Once lunch was over I got to join Omar's group and the first ride that we went on was the manta. The manta was pretty fun but ive been on it a ton of times so it was kind of boring but it was fun going through the tunnels and drops.

But the next ride that we were going on was the electric eel. Once we got there I was standing in line and I was really scared and I had never been on the ride before and it would be the scariest ride I've ever been on.

Once the ride started I was closing my eyes and waiting for the spin at the top of the ride. After the first spin I realised that It wasn't that bad and I started having fun.

 After the ride we had to leave and I was sad I didn't get to go on the emperor. After we got back to school I was happy that I went on one of the scariest rides.

In the end I would go back to Sea World another time and go on all of the rides which I regret not doing the first time.

When I was 6 years old my dad took me to Sea World for the first time and it was a day I'll never forget. It was my first time at Sea World.

 Me and my dad walked around. I got some churros and after that we started walking towards the penguin area because at the time they were my favorite animal. We saw the penguins, we walked around a little more and saw flamingos as well. At this point in time it was about mid day and now it was time to go watch the orca show. Watching the orca show was really cool for me seeing them be fed and just watching them swim around in the water was a surreal experience for a little 6 year old me. After the show it was time to go on rides. The first ride I'd ever go on was Journey To Atlantis. Looking at this ride at the time was extremely nerve racking. It was a huge ride watching people come down and screaming definitely didnt make me wanna go on more but no matter what I saw I was still somewhat excited to go on the ride. Waiting in the line felt like the longest wait of my life as I watched the ride go down over and over again and the line shortened down.

 Finally we were next and we started going up to go load up into the ride. I was so scared for the part where you drop down and it's all I was thinking about during the ride and finally we got to that point. We dropped straight down and I felt this mixture of my nervousness and anxiety all in one disappear as I went down. I went down and I realized it wasn't so bad, it was pretty fun and I wanted to go again. That was the only ride I went on that day but after that I ate more food, saw some more orcas and ended my day there with my dad. Coming to SeaWorld brings a lot of money for food and going, preferably on a sunny day its way more exciting experience with the sun out.

Before the trip I was tired and bored, I wasn’t really expecting much from this field trip since I've been to Sea World before. I was mainly outside on the benches waiting for school to start. I go inside and I see students inside the classroom already, mind you school still hasn’t started. I sit down and decide to watch netflix on my phone for a while.

 As time passed by the teachers gave us our assigned groups, I was put into the arctic rescue group. They were telling us what and what not to do, and also what we could do, as soon as they finished giving out groups and instructions they gave us our car groups. 

I got put into Mr. Figgys’ car, we went into the car after. The car ride was actually not too loud or quiet, it was nice and calm. Mr. Figgy started asking us questions like what are we excited for the most once we arrive at Sea World and more. We were talking for like half of the ride, and then the rest of it was quiet, it was alright, but hey we finally arrived at Sea World, it still looked the same as it has been since the last time I was there. 

We were going in line with our groups to listen to instructions and to know what we were going to do. Once we finished we went inside the park and started heading to the arctic rescue. We got to the arctic rescue ride, but we had to wait for a long while because the ride kept getting delayed due to malfunctions. Because of the delay we left to see some animals. Meanwhile they fixed the ride. We saw penguins, turtles, fishes, and jelly fish and lastly manta rays, we even got to touch the manta rays. 

Since we were already at the manta ray area we went onto the manta ray ride. The ride was actually so fast, that I could feel my shoes slowly slipping off. Once the ride finished my teacher Mr. Amilio told us that it was lunch time so we got off to get the others who stayed to see the manta rays, and once we got to them we washed our hands and we then saw Ms. Trisha walking with her group. We washed our hands and went to this little area I’ve never been before but we stayed there for lunch. 

There were tables, benches and this huge chair prop for people to take pictures, and you can see the view of the bay. I didn’t eat anything for lunch because I wasn’t hungry but Mr. Omar gave us students a choice if we wanted to eat PB&J or buy food and since I wasn’t hungry and didn’t want to eat I just went with the kids who went to buy food just so I could walk around. I went to this one place where they sell tacos and just hung out around there, while I waited for the others to get food. 

I walked around that little area and I ended up in this other area. I went back to the taco area because I thought it was time to go back to the table area, but noo we were waiting on Coleman because he went to the restroom so we waited for almost 4 minutes. Coleman finally came out so we started heading back to the lunch area. We stayed there for about one hour. Lunch ended so we went back to our group, since we were already gonna leave in around 30 min so we headed to the Arctic rescue ride since we couldn’t do that one due to delays and huge lines.

Once we got there for once the ride didn’t get delayed or any big line, we got onto the ride, it was alright it felt more like a kids ride but with the speed of the manta ride. We had about 20 min left so Mr. Amilio gave us an option where we could split up and choose what our last ride would be, we had to choose between electric eel, Emperor, and Atlantis. 

Mr. Amilio was the only one who went to Electric Eel, while some of us went to Emperor or Atlantis. I went to the emperor because I like the upside down look of the drop and how it’s really fast. Mr. Amilio said that we were already leaving so headed back to the entrance.

I would recommend this for everyone, the only thing is if you’re pregnant or have certain medical conditions some rides would be dangerous. Other than that you can have fun, look at animals, and eat with family or friends.

Thus it was a chilling Tuesday morning. The sky was semi-clear with occasional clouds showing up. Originally our plan had been to go to the Emperor ride. The problem was that it didn’t open till 11 am so we went on Journey to Atlantis.

Once on the ride we started going up towards the top. It was a slow ascent and the person behind me was already panicking. They were saying all this stuff about it being too scary already. Somehow the words got into my head and made me actually feel a little fear. Not a lot of fear since Journey to Atlantis isn’t a scary ride in my opinion but more than normal. As we reached the tip of the top we stopped for about 0.5 seconds and then we wooshed down. I was caught a bit off guard since on the way upward I had zoned out just a bit, not realizing what was going on around me. 

Then we started heading upwards towards the blue tower and the first major water part of the ride. It was slow as we headed through a tunnel and I was excited to get wet. Then we rapidly slid through the water fall portion and splashed down to the bottom. I was completely dry. For me this kind of changed my perspective of the rest of the ride. I was bummed out about not being able to get wet and you know be part of the biggest experience. Then suddenly we started heading upward in a really dark tunnel. I couldn’t see anything and some voices were like speaking. I felt very overstimulated in the moment from noise and lack of vision. Then the light suddenly appeared. We dropped for one final time and went through some fast turns. Blew me out of my seat a bit before one more splashdown where again I didn’t get wet. That was the end of the ride.

For the rest of the day nothing big really happened to me. My group went on the biggest ride of Emperor for the rest of the day so I decided to enjoy my time just enjoying the rest of the place. Except for my friend Ilyas who got sick after the third run and was acting delirious for the rest of the day. I also got to pay an excellent 18 dollars for a plain hotdog. 

Overall I would say I enjoyed my trip at Seaworld and I do recommend going at least once. It really is fun for all ages and has something for everyone to do. It is quite a bit of walking and kind of pricey but if you come prepared with snacks and food you’ll be fine. I really recommend this experience for everyone.

Before the trip, I honestly didn’t really expect much. I was really happy to be in a group with multiple people who are my friends, so that was nice. Saxon’s mom drove us there, and she was extremely nice! :)

My group first went to Arctic Rescue, which they had closed, so we instead went to the exhibits at Arctic Rescue, where I carved my initial into the ice with my nail (which made my fingertips go numb for a little while). Then our group went to Manta, Emeli and I decided against going on the ride and instead pet the manta rays whilst we waited for our group. Afterwards, we had lunch, where I got to finally talk to Judith, as Emeli and I were separated from her because we weren’t in her group. After lunch was over, Emeli and I went to the petting pools near the entrance, where Emeli got a “fish manicure” from those little fish that eat off your dead skin.

Emeli and I then went to Atlantis, but the line was too long, so instead we went to Emperor with Judith, Santi, Gia, and Klohey. I was terrified, but went on it anyway. By the end of the ride, my arms and hands were shaking, and I had tears running down my face. It was really scary.

Saxon’s dad drove us back, which was fun, because his dad is really nice. He was also playing 91X, which happened to be the same radio station that I grew up listening to because of my own dad, so that was really cool.

I would recommend going to SeaWorld, as it is really fun, but definitely bring sunscreen and a spare change of clothes. Otherwise, it’s a really cool experience due to the amount of up-close exhibits and encounters you can see.

Before SeaWorld, I wasn’t thinking much about it; all I was hoping for was that I would get to be in the same group as Judith and Alana. Unfortunately, Judith wasn’t in the same group as Alana and me.

Once we were there, our group went straight to Arctic Rescue. While we were in line for the ride, they closed it down right as it was our turn to get on due to one of the lap bars having an issue. So, we left after a few minutes of waiting and headed to the belugas. I thought they were so cute while doing tricks. After that, we went along and saw some walruses along with a few sea turtles.

After the sea turtles, we went to see the cleaner fish, which are my favorite out of all the animals at SeaWorld, because they give you free little manicures.

After we were done looking at the turtles, we went over to Manta since it was nearing lunch, and it was near our lunch spot. Amilio and a few others went on the ride, while the rest—including Alana and me—looked at the bat rays while waiting. As we waited, Judith appeared, and Alana and I jumped towards her when we saw her.

After having fun during lunch, we were separated once again, and my group went back to Arctic Rescue since it had opened back up.

The most memorable moment was riding Emperor with Judith, Alana, Gia, and Khloey. When we were hanging at the top for a moment, my nerves had gone away a bit before quickly returning once the drop happened. Although I will say it wasn’t as bad as the first time I rode Emperor.

After the field trip, I just wanted to go home and take a nap, but I couldn’t since we still had an hour left of school. All the walking had made me exhausted, but I didn’t regret the day at all.

SeaWorld is a great place to experience, and I would HIGHLY recommend going, especially with your friends. You should also definitely take a hat and ALWAYS wear sunscreen. Many times it’s very hot or warm at SeaWorld. 

Sea world, one of the most popular places to go in San Diego. But is it worth it? Well, here’s how my experience went. I’ve been there before, so I knew not to take a bag. They don’t have cubbies at some of the rides and I definitely wasn’t going to pay for a locker. Other than that however, I was excited for the field trip.

We got in car groups and left the school for the extremely short drive over. Once there we had a little trouble finding the main group, but ultimately did. Then we had to break off into new groups for the rides. My group had about three people that I thought I might actually talk to. One was my brother, Cooper. The second was my friend, Martin. The third was Cooper’s friend, Kaiya, who I’d spoken with a bit previously. I had some classmates in my group too but I didn’t know them all that well and they would probably just stick together.

When we all got to head in we immediately headed over to our group's most anticipated ride, Emperor, only to learn it wouldn't be open till 11:00am. We decided we’d go on other rides until then and headed over to Electric Eel. That ride was supposed to be quick, and it was for most. Kaiya and I went in the very back row and had no one in front of us waiting for it. Cooper and Martin however went to the first row, and we all ended up sitting outside waiting for them for around thirty minutes. We literally just sat there in boredom, no clue how long it would take. Needless to say, for a short while we were all a bit annoyed, or at least I was.

All the waiting took so long that we could already head back over to the Emperor. We got in line for it, the same pairings as before, and waited for our turn. We were all pretty excited for it. I managed to get an edge seat and off we went. Slowly we climbed up the track, higher and higher, as anticipation built. Finally we reached the top, tilted forward, and stopped. For a few seconds we just hung there, looking expectantly at the ground below, knowing this would be fun. Then woosh, off we went, flying down the track. I felt myself lift off my seat for all of two seconds before being pressed tightly against it as we spun and soared around the track. It was exhilarating and I obviously made sure to keep my hands in the air. Even better, because Cooper and Martin once again went for the front, Kaiya and I had time to go on the ride a second time immediately after. It was just as fun as before.

We did a lot of moving around after. We went to Atlantis where I ended up in the front row and got soaked. We went to buy lunch, but it wasn't very good. We went on Manta, which was great, though the most intense part was probably the abrupt stop where you get slammed into the seat belt rather than the speed. And finally, after all this, we managed to see our first and only animal of the day. We went to look at the batrays, and while others pet them I started on my assignment. I took a picture of the sign with information, started writing, and suddenly the group was leaving. Off we went to none other than Emperor once again. I managed to get another two rides in before we were all supposed to stand in our groups. Except, for some reason half my group and the chaperone were nowhere to be found. Luckily they turned up after a while and we all left. Because of how quickly we were moving around all day long I had to finish writing my assignment in the car. 

Overall it was a fun day. Sea World has some really fun rides, but it should be kept in mind that the food generally isn’t very good and it’s hard to find places for your bags unless you pay for the lockers. I totally recommend going at least once though, and actually making time to see the animals and shows if you do.

I was not too thrilled about the trip to SeaWorld unlike most of the other students. I knew it would be quite hot, there would be a lot of walking, and there would be a lot of people there. All of which I dislike quite heavily. When we got to SeaWorld, we were dropped off in a really big parking lot(too big). It was really hard to find out where to go and where our teachers were. I eventually found my group and learned that our chaperone was Mr. Amilio, which gave me some hope. 

Arctic rescue was the ride we had all chosen beforehand to go on. It was said to be a high trill, 40mph ride. While the line was pretty short, we ended up waiting for a while due to a technical difficulty. We didn’t even get to go on it because of said issue. The staff suggested we go and visit other attractions, as they didn’t have a time estimate for when the ride would be back up.

We then went and observed the Beluga whales nearby, they were cool. Though losing our group briefly was not. After a vote, we chose to head over to Manta, one of the other rides. About 4 of the people in our group went on the ride. Myself and the others held bags and went to the nearby Bat-ray petting attraction. I was initially hesitant to pet them, as I didn’t want to get my hands dirty and have already pet manta-rays in the past. Though I gave in and pet the Bat-rays and it ended up being my favorite part of the trip. Even though the water was very cold, the rays were very friendly and pleasant to pet. :] 

After washing our hands we went to meet up with the other groups to have lunch. The stop we ate at was nice, plenty of seating, a nice view, and some shade. Lunch was overall uneventful, we got to be on our phones and chat with friends. 

We then headed to the touch pools so Mr. Amilio could fix his pass. I got to learn a bit about the Epaulette shark, which was very cool. They bite each other as a mating behaviour and sleep in big piles. Overall a pretty chill shark species that looks cool, and you could pet them. 

Then we headed back to the Arctic rescue ride to see if it was open. It was, and the line was pretty short. Though they were operating on one car rather than the usual 2, so everything was a bit slower. We had to take off our glasses for the ride, so everything was a little fuzzy. I didn’t really like the ride. Feeling us tilt back and forth aggressively wasn’t a pleasant experience. I only went on it because a classmate said it was nice and many others insisted I should try a rollercoaster, even though I already knew I didn’t like them. For the majority of the ride I had my eyes closed and was repeatedly counting down from ten to distract myself. I’m very glad that the friend I was sitting next to doesn't scream on rollercoasters, because I don’t and the screaming hurts my ears.

Once we got off the ride, me and 3 others almost lost the group. Though we found them, so it was fine. When we all met back up, we decided to split off into groups to check on the rides we wanted to go on, but the waits were too long. We ran out of time and decided to just head to the final meet up spot to leave SeaWorld. Once the drivers arrived we all just left for school, as we still had X-block to go through. As a final note, if you already know that you don’t like something, don't let others convince you to try it again. However you shouldn’t let that get in the way of enjoying other things. 

On the car ride to Sea World, I was beyond excited. I kept thinking of scenarios of Adri and me going to different animal exhibits, mini rides, and taking pictures. 

I was practically vibrating with excitement, only restrained by the seat belt from jumping all over the car's walls.

My excitement only grew and grew the more I recognized the route. The only thing that calmed me down was the cool wind blowing through my hair.

When we arrived, I practically hopped out of the car and gravitated towards my other friends, whom I spotted from afar. 

After many chats and minutes of waiting in the sun in a clumpy single-file line, Adri and I and a handful of my friends were sent free under supervision.

We immediately began scouting out for the tentacle twirl and for the jewels of the sea exhibit. 

When we arrived at the tentacle twirl, we were immediately up next, but while waiting, I was kind of nervous. 

Actually, riding was so calming, I liked the wind grazing my face and looking at everyone below me. It made my earlier nervousness seem foolish.

The jewels of the sea were even better. The setting and the lighting just made everything seem so magical. 

I was excited to see all of the changes from the last time I went. The jewels of the sea have the perfect setting and lighting to take photos at.

My group decided to find the teacups ride, but instead we got lost and arrived at the petting pools. While petting the bamboo sharks, I asked questions of if the sharks ever happened to make babies.

After the petting pools, we gravitated to Manta; only 3 people decided to hop on the Manta. Those three were Adri, me, and our friend Arianna. 

While Adri and Arianna were trying to calm themselves, I was so excited and hyping up the ride, and I kept telling them that they would enjoy it.

When we reached the roller coaster, we were already up next and saw another group with some of our friends who were next in line. 

Since the roller coasters only had two seats per row, I didn't want Arianna to go alone on her first time. 

Adri and I suggested that she go with the other group, considering that someone else was also going alone. 

She agreed, and Adri and I watched her as the roller coaster started moving, Adri and I waved her goodbye until she disappeared inside the tunnel.

Then it was just us, two. We waited and waited until the second strolled in.

 Adri had started freaking out and saying she might have a panic attack, and second-guessing getting on the roller coaster at all.

We both took deep breaths in and out over and over again. I then asked if she still wanted to get off. While Adri had an unsure look written all over her face, she had stated, “No, let's do this.” 

“Yeah, we can do this!” I exclaimed while pumping my fist up in the air. 

When the ride started and was taking us through a tunnel, the younger kids on the ride started just straight up screaming for no apparent reason. 

Adri and I both shared a glance of annoyance, but our attention was stolen when the ride started rocking us back and forth. 

While I was mesmerized by the projected visuals of the ocean and fish, I could sense Adri's nervousness. 

When a big manta ray came onto the projected display, the doors opened, and the roller coaster launched us forward.

I felt the rush of cold air hit my face at such speed, while I was processing that we were launched, I could hear a high-pitched scream next to me. 

When I realized the scream came from Adri, I started cackling. In between cackles, I asked if Adri was alright, but came no response; the screaming had gone silent. 

We were soon at the part of the roller coaster where it would slow down and launch us again.

I finally got a response back. 

“Wait, this isn’t so bad,” a cheerful Adri stated 

“See! I told you you’d like it!” I stated cheerfully

Then the roller coaster launched us again,

This time, both of us were laughing.

When the ride ended, we both got off all giggly and were excited to go again. 

Both of us ran to ask permission from our supervisor, and on the way, we found Arianna waiting for us. 

So all three of us skipped to our supervisor to ask if we could go on again. 

Sadly, we were not allowed to and had to meet up with everyone for lunch.

My advice is to bring a friend, it's always so much fun!

I was ready for this trip since the start of the semester because it's been a long time since I went to sea world with my friends and on the day I got there I saw my group and I was glad that I got all of my friends and the group I wanted. Our car ride was even better because it was just me and Anthony in the car, nobody else just the driver and we got to sit in the back with so much space and the soft seats with extra leg room it was just a calm, chill car ride. 

Once we got there it was cool just hanging out and talking with all my friends. It was boring just standing there and waiting for everyone to get there. Once we finally went into the park and found my group switched chaperones, me and the group got hyped because Omar said we could go on any ride we wanted. 

We got Omar's number in case we got lost or he couldn't find us, after that we rushed right to electric eel and got on the ride instantly. It was my first time going on electric eel so I didn't know what to expect but I did know what it looked like so I wasn't super surprised, but we when they started it it went up which wasn't so bad but dropping down backwards gave me a weird feeling cause i have never been on a drop where you drop backwards but after that one part we went all the way up and went upside down which was pretty cool looking at all of Sea World upside down, going on the ride gave me an adrenaline rush and like breath taking because it was super quick. I went to the emperor line 10 minutes early before it opened because me and my friends wanted to be the first people to get on the ride. Before I got on the ride I put on my meta glasses to record me getting on the ride because I heard people do that so I wanted to try. After the ride ended I checked the video and the quality turned out super good and I wanted to keep trying it so I went on all of the other rides recording. I recommend going because all of the roller coasters are fun, especially in the summer.

Before the trip to SeaWorld, I was feeling very excited, but I was kind of down on the idea because I thought we were only going to be able to go on one ride, which did not sound fun at all. But it turned out to be all right. At the park, when I found my group, it was very exciting because I saw that I was paired up with all my friends. It was kind of sad because some of my friends didn’t come, like John and David, but I was still happy with the group I got and the chaperone, who was Omar. When I went inside, I was hoping we would actually be able to go on more than one ride. And I was pretty excited overall.

On Emperor, Electric Eel, Journey to Atlantis, and Manta. The most memorable experience I had was going on Manta because Diego and I were in the front row of the line, and there were only about three people in front of us. So that’s like three cars that we had to wait for. And the feeling of getting closer and closer on a ride is always super cool because, just thinking like, “Oh, I’m about to go on. I’m about to go on after waiting all this time.” As we, gosh, dropped into the ride, I was really hyped because I remember when I first went to SeaWorld, that was the first ride I’d gone on, and it’s just always been a really fun ride, even though it doesn’t have any loops. As we’re going through the tunnel, my friend Diego was recording with his Meta Glass,s and he was like, “Oh, you’re scared, you’re scared.” And it was just a funny moment because he captured it on video,, o and it’s just a memory.

When we took off in the tunnel, because it shoots you out, it was faster than I expected,d because I remember it going slower, and I was feeling the wind hit my face,e and like my hair getting pushed back. The turns and drops were really fun because it would slow down and accelerate and then when you would turn, it would actually turn fast and kind of lift me off my seat. And I think what made it way better was that it was just with my friend Diego.

After we got off Manta, we went dow,n and there was a gift shop, and inside the gift shop, there was an aquarium where we saw stingrays, which were very cool because they were laid out on the glass and you saw their white stomach and their little mouths, which was very cute. There were a lot of different fish in there as well, just swimming around with them. I noticed when you went up and you touched the glass, it would interact with you and come up to you, and it kind of had me wondering if they like the interaction or they don’t because they’re just stuck in there.

Being with my friends was also a very memorable part because we were running around the park and going on all these rides together, being in the moment together, just making memories. Also, when we were in line, Sebastian would pull up a game called Imposter on his phone, and we would play, and we would have to guess who the impostor is. Also, we were all having fun. And everything is better with your friends. And we were talking and just having a good time overall. Even encountering one of your friends from the other group, it was really fun because it’s just cool. It’s just like, “Oh, that’s my boy right there.”

After the field trip, I’m actually very glad I went because I actually wasn’t going to go, but I was happy that I went because it was just a great time. Even when I was just saying, “Oh, it’s going to suck.” And it’s something I would do again.

If you get a chance to go to SeaWorld, I recommend going with your friends and making the most out of every ride and moment together. Don’t be afraid to try rides you think you might not like; you could end up having a blast. Enjoy the aquariums and the coolest animals, and make sure to bring a fun side for you, because sometimes the best trips start with low expectations and become the best memories.

In Sea World there are roller coaster rides only for the bravest, the most courageous. That’s not me. When I went with my class I spent most of the time reading, not riding. But, it might be you. 

My first glimpse of Sea World was of a roller coaster, and the twisting rails did nothing to calm my nerves. When we got there I met up with my group, which was chaperoned by Scott, a student teacher. The first coaster we traveled to was the Electric Eel. 

The Electric Eel looked as if someone made loops from a metal track and bent them so they curved, a spiralling path, the backbone of the coaster. The supporting beams wove around the track, the ribs of the coaster.

There was no way I was going on the Electric Eel, not even if I was paid, so I guarded the bags of those who went on and sensibly read a book instead. I waited patiently while Scott and most of the others in my group rode the ride. When they came out Journey To Atlantis was open.

We headed to that coaster next, a regal palace of blue and gold. Journey To Atlantis ended with the passengers soaring down a waterfall, getting wet and soaked from the water that splashed up as they slowed down.

I knew three students in our group, Camila, Devin, and Ethan, and all of them decided to risk the rapids, so I struck up a conversation with Scott while we waited for them to come back. 

After a while, the brave adventurers returned from their expedition, then instantly decided to go again. I got up, looked around, and found a tank filled with aquatic life. There were fish, rays, and even a turtle! I snapped some pictures and then we had to go. 

Before we left, however, a couple students and a certain happy-go-lucky math teacher decided to take advantage of the splash zone. Some were trapped and some went willingly, but they all got drenched!

Finally, joined by Mr. Omar and his group, we walked over to the meeting place for lunch. I had a packed lunch, so I stayed behind while others left to go buy food. We were spread out in chairs on a lawn overlooking the sea, it was quite nice. 

After the meal, some reading, and a quick picture, my group walked over to the Manta, the first and only coaster that I rode. 

The Manta swirled close to the ground and spun out over the land. It never went upside down, but it had its fair share of twists and turns. Below it greenery grew and fanned out, until I could almost imagine it to be a vision of the seafloor.

I strapped myself in, seated next to Cooper, my friend Lila’s twin brother, and waited while we slid forward into darkness. On the walls a reef was projected, with fish and sharks swimming past. Then came the manta. It hurtled toward us as we rocked back and forth. With a lurch, we zoomed out into the blinding light of day.

The Manta was low to the ground traversing smoothly and speedily. I felt pressure from all directions all at once. I held on tight to my restraint and little shrieks slipped from me in the fastest parts. As quickly as it started, it was over.

After the Manta my group split up, each heading to one of the three biggest coasters, conveniently squeezed together. I watched bags again and read my fascinating literature. I was near Journey To Atlantis and every so often refreshing mist washed over me; it almost tickled. 

Later, all the groups met up near the biggest, most thrilling coaster in the park, the Emperor. 

The Emperor started with a dive, plunging into loops and twirls. At the tip of the precipice it would stall, people swinging slightly in their seats. Then, it plummeted into the depths of bubbling emotions, unbridled fear and joy.

I felt nauseous as I watched the coaster fly through the air at top speed, but the pause at the top might’ve been worse. I was filled with relief from being spared from the ride. I tried to avoid looking at it. 

I left Sea World content to go, still shaky from the exhilaration that came with high speed thrill rides.

Be prepared to face fears and have fun. Sea World is also a place of learning, for every ride there are animals that are connected. It is perfect for people who are looking for something to do; I guarantee you, you will never be bored.

Before our trip to SeaWorld, arguably the most exciting journey we've had so far, I was anticipating an epic day full of excitement, thrills, and good times with all my friends, mostly expecting to make memories that would last. 

On the car ride there, I was with Alex, Juan, and Lars, which made the car ride that much more comfortable, as they were the same people I was always with on any trip. We all couldn't really contain our excitement, and on the way there, we were constantly cracking jokes. We were also making our plan for the park, debating on what rides to go on first. 

After a couple of minutes of driving, there it was, SeaWorld in all its glory. We saw the towing roller coasters, which looked a little scarier than I remembered, as we pulled into the parking lot. We jumped out of the car, thanked my mom for driving, and rushed to get ready to start entering. Turns out I was grouped with all my buddies, which was the greatest, and our chaperone was Mrs Christian, who was happy to take us anywhere in the park. 

On the way in, Emperor, one of the bigger coasters on the right of the entrance, was looking more terrifying. I started to question if I would even be able to handle it, or if I would chicken out later, but I kept that thought to myself. Some guy checked my bag, and when everyone was ready, we all got together and agreed on going to Manta first, as the Emperor was closed at the moment. This was going to be our warm-up coaster. We all kinda jogged-walked there, because we wanted to make the most out of our day at SeaWorld. 

As soon as we arrived, we put our bags down, right on the bridge at the entrance of Manta. Which looked kinda like a reef, but on dry land, that became a garden of sorts. All of us started running, and we all agreed everyone was going on the ride, until we noticed we were missing Constantine, Juan, and Devin, who at the last moment decided they didn't want to get on.

As we waited in the line, we agreed that we were gonna try shouting their names right when the manta went at the entrance, so we could entice them to go on the next one. Minutes later, the coaster lined up at the boarding area, the gates opened, and we got situated. Some of us were freaking out a little, “Saxon”. I was mostly worried about feeling sick later, but I kept that in. Everyone was chatting up when the ride operator gave us a quick countdown speech. 

The cart started moving, and some of us were screaming already, even though at the start we were going at a nice, slow pace, until we reached a tunnel, where we waited, until I felt a Jolt, as we were launched out onto the tracks. The back of my head smacked against the headrest as we accelerated. I started holding on to the nicely placed bars right in front of me a little tighter. Each turn got more and more exhilarating, and I felt kinda like I was flying. The air was smashing into my face, and water was forced out of my eyes. When we passed the bridge, I yelled “JUANNNNNN!” (Later, I learned that he didn't hear me), and the pure adrenaline I felt was amazing, even though this wasn't the biggest ride. So even though this wasn't the most extreme ride, it was the start of my day, and it got me ready for Emperor, which I thought I couldn't handle, and in the end, I pretty much rode every single main roller coaster at the park (still got sick feeling after eating before Emperor, but I felt alive). On the way back home, I felt alive and sick, but with an amazing feeling in my chest. I gotta say, this was a pretty epic journey.

So, before you go to Sea World, remember, bring some friends you feel really comfortable with, that make any moment special, water, food (don't eat before roller coaster), and no matter the situation, no matter how you feel, always try to have the most fun, push yourself, and by the end of the day you’ll feel alive, and make memories that last too. 

I hung there, looking down at the 150ft foot drop. A sense of calm washed over me as I looked out at the horizon. When my car group got to the park, I was filled with happiness. I was a little bummed because most of my friends were in a different group than me. Once I got out of the car, that ocean breeze slammed into my face like a freight train. Once I found my group, we got everybody together and walked into the park. 

We planned to go to Emperor first, but we found out that it didn't open until eleven, so we ran over to Electric Eel before it got too busy in line. We met up with Ethan, who had never been on Eel before. While we were in line, Ethan was freaking out about the ride because he didn't really like roller coasters. Once we went on the ride, he realized how fun it was. After I got off the ride, I was craving a snack, so Chase, Caleb, and I went to buy pizza and pretzels from the stand near the electric eel. The food was alright, but it tied us over until lunch. After our snack, we ran over to Emperor. 

 We got into the line for Emperor, and I immediately got into the front row. I wasn't that nervous because Emperor is one of my favorite rides at SeaWorld.  As we got strapped in and the gates opened, the cart slowly accelerated to the ramp. As we got onto the ramp, a sense of calm washed over me as I lay my head back against the seat. My mind drowned out the screaming voices as I went up. Once I reached the top, I opened my eyes and saw the beautiful skyline of San Diego stretching out across the horizon. I saw downtown glimmer in the distance like a mirage. As we rounded the corner, downtown fading out of view, I saw the drop. A 150-foot plunge straight down. I look over at Mr Scott next to me, and his calming presence gives me confidence. We plunge at 60+ mph, and the wind slams into my face like a wall. 

After the ride, I regroup with my group, and we head over to Manta. After manta, I go to the exhibit where the bat rays glide through the water. I stick my hand in and feel the slimy body of the rays slide under my hand. You don't realize how big they get until they're right next to you. After the exhibit, we walked over to Emperor, where we were supposed to meet up with our group. Once all of our group met up, we walked over to the parking lot and got into my group's car. Once I got home, I immediately took a shower and napped. I usually go to SeaWorld, and it's always a good time. I would definitely recommend it to people.

I was sitting in the car with Alex, Red, and Ilyas, the car was buzzing with excitement because we were on the way to Sea World! On the car ride to Sea World we were all talking about which rides we were going to go on and what part of the ride we were going to be sitting on. Once we got to the school drop zone for sea world we had to wait for a while because there were lots of other schools that had field trips to sea world. Right before we entered the park we got into our groups. My group had Devin, Ilyas, Ezra Moon, Aydin, Constantine, Red, Saxon, and Apollo. We all wanted to go on Emperor first so once we got in the park we all started to head to the Emperor line.

Once we got in front of the ride an employee told us that the Emperor does not open until 11am. It was around 10 so we still had an hour until Emperor opened so we started to head toward Manta. Manta was on the whole other side of the park so we had to walk about 10 minutes until we got to the ride. We got there right when the park opened. There was no line for Manta on our first ride of Manta. and Ezra sat in the front seat. After we finished our ride there was still no line so we ended up going on Manta again. I went to the front again this time, I also went with Saxon this time. Saxon was scared to go on the front of the ride but after he did it he said it was not that bad.

After we finished riding the Manta we went to pet some Manta rays. After we finished petting the Manta rays it was 11am exactly so we rushed over to the emperor. We got to the emperor about 10 minutes after it open so there was still no line so we only had to wait for 1 group in front of us. Me and Ezra, Aydin, Apollo, and Ilyas were all riding in the back because we wanted to take it easy but right before we got on the ride we noticed Saxon waiting for the front and then Saxon said “you guys are too scared to go in the front”. After he said that we all wanted to go to the front so we ducked under the bars and made it to the front.

 We were all able to get in the front so on the way up to the top we were all talking but once we got to the top that changed. Once we got to the top every one went silent because we knew the drop was about to come. We started to go down the drop but before we were able to go down we had to hang at the edge for like 3 seconds. Once we started to plunge down I could feel my stomach drop. Once the drop started to bottom out the rest of the ride was fun and chill, big loops and fast turns on some of the turns there was so much G force that I could not move my head.

Me and my group had so much fun on that ride that we decided to ride it 5 times in an arrow and we would have rode it more but our chaperone said it was time for lunch. We went to this nice spot in the back of the park with a view of the bay and ate lunch.

While I was eating my lunch I filled out my note sheet. After lunch me and my group really wanted to go on electric eel because that was the only ride we had not been on at that point. We had so much fun on Electric Eel that we rode it 3 times.

 After we finished riding Electric Eel it was almost 2 o'clock which was when we had to leave but right before we left me and my group went on one last ride on Emperor. This ride was really fun because the whole coaster had kids from High Tech and Amilio was on it so it had a super cool energy. After that ride was over I wanted to try to get 1 more ride in but I had no time.

 After I got back into my group we were able to leave the park and go back to school. Once I got back to school I was really tired but my fatigue did not kick in until I got home. Once I got home I felt like I could barely walk, so for the rest of the day I just chilled at home. For any one who is planning on visiting sea world I would definitely get your rides in right when you get there because the later you wait the longer the lines will be.   

I walked into school with excitement and anticipation for the day ahead. I had previously been informed that I would be in a group with my friends, which I was extremely happy about. 

The wait to leave school felt like forever. My car group was very good, I was with Adri and Brissa. We had a chill ride over to Sea World. The wait to actually get into Sea World took longer than it felt because I was just vibing with my friends. 

We walked in as a large group, then quickly broke off into our small groups to wander around the park. We quickly walked over to the electric eel because it was right there. The line was pretty short, the ride even shorter. For some reason it felt slow. 

Our next destination was Manta. We quickly got in line. Most of my friends had gotten on the ride before me, and my friend Sophia. We had to wait for the next ride. We decided since we were already waiting, we might as well wait to be on the front of the ride. 

The wait for the next ride felt longer than typical. We soon realized that the ride had broken down.

A few minutes later my friends had finally gotten off the ride. After a few test runs, the ride was back up. Some of my friends had gotten back in line so we could all ride together. 

The ride worked perfectly, which was a relief. Sophia was being her jolly self and making me laugh. 

When we met back up with my friends, they recounted their story about what had happened. The ride had broken down at the very beginning, so they were in a dark room for a few minutes before the ride started again. 

Our group then wanted to head over to the other side of the park to go see the emperor. We took a brief detour to find penguins and dolphins. We quickly walked the rest of the way to the ride. We waited for the front row, then off we went.

The wind smacked me across the face when we got to the top of the ride. The view of mission bay was beautiful. The ride was very fun, firmly cementing itself into my favorite sea world ride to date. 

We sadly had to meet up with the rest of the groups for lunch. We were forced to take a group photo, then some of my friends and I took a lil nap on the turf. After lunch, we walked over to the seals and sea lions area. They were so adorable and even did a few tricks for us.  

We then walked over to the journey to Atlantis. We surprisingly didn’t get too wet during the multiple times we were on the ride. 

After a few times on Atlantis, we decided to go back over to the emperor to get one last ride in before we needed to leave. We were told we didn't have enough time, yet when we arrived at the emperor we saw Mr. Amilio speed walking into line. 

We took that as a sign to get in line. We breezed through the ride with time to spare. Then we got into our car groups and went back to school.

If you choose to go to Sea World, do not go during their peak hours. It's way more fun to prance around at seaworld without having to dodge people at every turn. Be vigilant about applying sunscreen and drinking enough water - it can get very hot while waiting in lines. P.S. It's way more fun to go with people you have fun with.

Journey not Journeying Error 404

I’m not the biggest Sea World fan (I'm more of a San Diego Zoo kind of person) but I was still hopeful that it’d be a fun time, considering I’ve been there before and somewhat knew the area. The drive over in my mother’s car was fairly uneventful. The trip started with all of the 9th grade together in line in the Sea World parking lot. Then we were separated into our groups, with me in Ms. Tricia’s group. We then walked through the backdoor gates and made our way in.

So the first ride we went to was the Tentacle Twirl. I did not go on this ride because I am not a fan of heights. But from what I saw, I think the others found it fun. After checking out the jellyfish nearby, we decided to check out another ride, Manta. This was another ride I did not want to participate in, so me and a few others along with Ms. Tricia decided to check out the dolphin enclosure. It was a fun time seeing all the dolphins swimming up close. Once that was done with, we all headed back to Manta to nab the rest.

After that we headed right to check out the nearby bat ray pool. I was unable to feel them in time but I heard they felt like wet plushies. Once we were done touching the mantas we were off again. We decided to try and find out where the sea turtles were, which was a lot more of a quest than we thought. We ended up getting sidetracked though when we found the seal enclosure. We then spent a few minutes there watching all the seals do their spins, it was very cute. The enclosure next to it, the lion seals, was also very entertaining. I even got to hear one of them roar, and saw two of them get into a flipper fight. By this time though we had to head over for lunch, so we got to walking. 

The lunch area was actually very nice. It had a near perfect view of the ocean and multiple lawn chairs. Other than that not much of note happened while eating. Though near the end of lunch we all gathered together for a group photo, which was fun. But once that was over we were back into our groups and ready to walk.

While we were at the seal enclosure we’d heard that there was an axolotl showcase, so after lunch we all started to head over. We’d also finally found the sea turtles, but then skipped them in favor of the axolotls. While there, I learned that those long frills on the sides of their faces are gills. Afterwards we then headed back to see the sea turtles. It was neat seeing them swim around and do their own things. 

After the turtles we moved onto trying to find the orcas. It was cool seeing them jump around and make their cool noises. We then went to look at the underside section. It was even cooler looking at them underwater, though it was pretty murky underneath the water, and the constant bubbles from their jumps made it hard to see.

By then our time at Sea world was slowly running up, so we decided to make one last stop at the arctic showcase. We knew we couldn't stay there long so we had to get through it fast. First, the beluga whales were bumbling inside their enclosure, and had someone talking about things beluga whales can do, like echolocation. Next, the otters. As otters were, they were pretty cute doing their littles spins in the water. And then the last one, which was the walrus. There was only one walrus, but it was still neat seeing them do their loops around the tank, showing off their full belly to the crowd. We then had to hightail it to the backdoor entrance where we came in ‘cause it was time to leave.

We made it over to the general area where we started, then waited for everyone to get back. In the meantime there was a small aquarium by one of the giftshop full of fish pleasantly swimming. After maybe twenty minutes of waiting we scrounged up the people and walked to the backdoor exit.

It was there when we found out not everyone was still there, so we had to wait even more for everyone to get there. But finally everyone came, and we left. Everyone in the car expressed how tired they were and how they were ready to just leave. Currently as of the time of writing this, being the day after, I feel content knowing I was able to see many interesting and unique animals.

If you have the money and time, then maybe check Sea World. If not for the animals, then for the fast rides. But remember to bring water with you when visiting, it’s a lot of walking.

Sea World, a place to observe sea life, witness shows, and ride rollacosters. When we arrived at Sea World, I was a little sick from my stomach thinking about all the rides.I thought that I would be fine, these rides are safe, however, when I went through the entrance I was shocked at how tall the emperor was. It first started slowly going upwards, then it would get at the edge of the emperor showing everyone how high it was, then it would drop and go through multiple loops at a very fast speed.

Even though I wasn’t going on that ride it still made me nervous. When we were starting to walk over to the manta ride I decided to not go, because I didn’t feel like I could do it. So I stayed and took pictures, after that our group went different ways. I went with my friends on the arctic rescue because it didn't seem like an insane ride, however, when getting on I still felt anxious. When the ride started it went fast but not as fast as manta, the ride took a ton of turns, I was terrified while having fun at the same time. After that ride we went to a museum of the arctic, we saw sealweals and beluga whales. Then we headed back to wait for the others to be finished, then we went to eat lunch with the other groups. 

After lunch we headed to the jellyfish museum, where I saw a bunch of cool different types of jellyfish, such as one in a glass with water falling around it, walls with jellyfish, and more jellyfish. I really wanted to go to the shark encounter but it was still getting constructed, so we went to the dead skin eating fish, the fish came from everywhere to eat my skin off my hand, and some leopard sharks across the tank. Then we headed to a jellyfish ride, then headed to the emperor for the final ride. It was humorous to see the people screaming before falling down, then my driver came and picked us up, it felt like a friday. Sea World was an amazing experience, if you are planning to go to Sea World bring your own food and a huge bottle of water, because they don’t have water fountains.

Sea World is a park where people go to look at marine life, or just go on the roller coasters. One of which is called Emperor and I just so happen to be looking up at it now from the parking lot. When I walk over it’s actually closed so me and my good friends Matt and Cooper walk over to get front row seats on Electric Eel. 

I watch the riders in front of me zip forward and back faster than I can analyze their faces. We get into our seats and secure our lapbars. The guy in the control room says “do you guys like surprises?” and immediately I zoom forward up the rail and then fall back down. I turn to Matt who is still waiting his turn but he’s reduced to a blur of blonde, crimson, and black as I get yanked back. 

The coaster, now facing vertically down, loses all of its upward speed and somehow even faster this time the ride drags me and my own hair struggles to keep up. We twist around at the top of the track and for a moment I see the whole park underneath me. We gain a surprising amount of speed going down and I loop around a whole circle like Sonic the fricking hedgehog. The ride stops and I step out with way more energy than my whole body can store. 

By now, Emperor is open so I dap up Matt and we run over to get front row seats. We get onto the ride after a short wait and our whole entire row is comprised of the silliest most downright diabolical people in probably the entire park. Naturally, we’re hitting all the poses and making all the faces on our way up the giant escalator and when we reach the top I can see the entire parking lot. The ride pauses and I hang over the edge of an absolute vertical collapse. With the small window of being suspended in midair more than 140 feet up in the air, I brace myself and hit the absolute cinema pose. 

Seconds later we drop with massive amounts of speed and I can hear the woosh of the rails and everyone scream as we go around entire loops. I feel like I’m floating in my seat, going around loops and speeding along. The ride stops and we lose all of our speed back at the loading dock. I turn to Matt and he looks like someone blasted him with a high power blow dryer. We laugh and skip down full of joy and whimsy over to the next ride.

The closest one to us is Journey to Atlantis and the line is so emptily long it takes us about a minute to get through all the chains with no people. This time me and Matt get in the second row of the ride (remember this it’s important). We get in and the boat carries us up an escalator and right as we reach the top I realize the ride goes straight into the drop. It isn’t directly vertical like Emperor or unbelievably fastest like Electric Eel but it sure is steep and that’s enough for me to float off my seat a little. The rails roll and a loud PSHHHHH is heard. I open my eyes and there is water everywhere. There isn’t a large abundance of water on me or Matt so we don’t think anything of it. *cutscene here, kraken attack blahblahblah*. Going up another elevator we accelerate down a spiral into more water. Still not all that wet we exit the boat and look at the guys in front of us. Spoiler alert, they are completely soaked (it's a good thing we didn’t pick front row seats this time). 

After a short break for lunch, we head to the last coaster on our list; That being Manta. It’s about a minute and a half of pure speed & twists.

*boarding the ride, insert manta ray cutscene here blahblahblah*. I am pressed against my seat as the ride just instantly goes forward. I try putting my arms in the air but the ride is just so fast I end up holding on to the back of my seat. I swerve and speed along the track with my arms up and when the ride ends and I step out of my seat, I’m greeted with the bat ray petting pool. I roll up my sleeves and give as many handshakes and pets as possible before washing my freezing arms and walking away. 

Anyways, that was the real interesting stuff, if you’re planning on going to Seaworld anytime soon, bring a raincoat and try not going in the back row of any rides to avoid whiplash.

Before the trip I was expecting a lot of fun and lots of stomach drops since I'd already been there before I knew exactly how everything was going to feel. Where everything was at and I expected crowded lines of people and 30-60 minute wait lines and loud conversations. 

During the trip I am going to be truthful. I was very bored, sad, and disappointed since this was my very first experience where I did not have fun. Usually every time I go to seaworld I have a blast. The anticipation was very fun though I remember  getting out of the car with Arianna and meeting to see Padwa and talk about the fun rides we are going on and Arianna making jokes about only going on kitty rides and Padwa being too scared. I was the only ambitious one ready to get on the largest of the largest and a few jokes were exchanged. I found my group which was N’vey, Navi, Melanie, Kaleb, Re’Mani and Kaden. We went inside and the emperor was closed so we had to go on another ride while we waited. 

While my friends went on the Electric Eel ride without me I found Arely and she was in the waiting line by herself so I went to join her and we went on together. I remember we were confused on why the seatbelts didn't go over our chest cause we haven't been there in so long they changed it but we were in the back at the time. No one was in the back and we were skeptical about the part missing. I looked at Arely to make sure we were on the same page…confused and terrified we tried to signal anybody to realize that our seat belt wasn't rightly secured. My heart pounded and jumped straight out of my chest. I looked at Arely for approval to scream and she looked at me and shook her head as we heard “Check 1..2…3”. Gulp roughly swallowed the lump and we launched. I was shivering, the sun was awfully humid but getting launched up I felt a shiver of wind traveling down my spine and neck wondering what would happen when we got up there to the part of Electric El where we go upside down. Were we gonna fall? Slip? Die? I cannot lie the terror in those brief 30 seconds was oddly satisfying. 

I remember later on heading to lunch and in the corner of my eye spotting merging pink and orange for a soft pastel vibe, a blush tint with peach undertones…It's flamingos! The beautiful pink gorgeous birds, their reak and funk doesn't match up with their view but the stink eventually warmed up my nostrils and I was able to bear the smell to get closer. Their feathers are simply so deluxfull. 

So effortlessly pretty, one thing I absorbed as well was their dark beaks preening Flamingos preen to waterproof their feathers, remove dirt and parasites. It's like when humans wipe their face with wipes etc. so fascinating!

 After the trip I remember being so tired and sleepy. I was ready to go home but at the same time Sea World already had me jump started because I remember reminiscing about the 5 minute wait lines. I loved the overall very fun experience and a little tip from author to reader. GO ON WEEKDAYS!

When we got to SeaWorld, I went and found some of my group and friends(Matt, Isaiah, and Archer). We lingered for a while before we were asked to form a single-file line, then find our chaperones and group members. Once we got past security and into the park, we were immediately at the Emperor, but we had to wait till about 10:30 to get on.

Our group walked over to Eclectic Eel. I didn't get on; I’ve just never had a strong desire to ride it. The wait time display read five minutes, but it took about 20-30 minutes for any of our group members to get on the ride, and Matt was the last off. It had taken him an extra 10-15 minutes to get off the ride, Finally after that, we headed over to the emperor and met Edgar's group there, and I got in the front row line with Edgar. At the start of the ride, we put our hands and feet straight out and everyone relaxed their bodies except Edgar, who somehow held his legs up the whole ride. But I really enjoyed Emperor, it's my favorite ride there, but I was bummed we only went on once. We headed on a journey to Atlantis

During lunch, I ran up to the big chair and sat with some friends, and we all talked about memes. Also, when I was making food, I started telling Dr. Michal about metadata in photos and talking to him, Amilio, and Archer about what super safety is. Then Archer, Amilio, and I talked about Brendan Herrera, and I found out Mr. Amilio knows who Hickok 45 is. Also, I was actively trying to get Dr. Michal, Freaddy, or Mr. Amilio to take us to the Sesame Place in SeaWorld.

Advice: When you go, spend more time there than we did, and see the animals.

I remember feeling happy and a little excited about going to SeaWorld. I was a bit nervous about rides, but other than that I was looking forward to hanging out with Adri and Brissa. 

The very first thing we did once we had walked in was head toward the jelly fish ride. We had to wait for a little bit but once we got on and found our seats we started lifting into the air. It was an amazing feeling not touching the ground. The gentle wind was peaceful and it was awesome to be in my own little world, where I could just be present with myself. Taking that moment humming my favorite songs, while being so high in the air it was so relaxing. I was sad when it ended, especially because it made me realize I wanted to go on more rides. 

The next thing we did was go into this dark building with jellyfish, it was very cool and we took lots of pictures, including me and Adri with squid hats on which was very fun. I remember the jellyfish glowing different colors. Although they looked very bored, just sort of hanging in the water. There were also some that were upside down and weren't moving very much because they couldn't get off the ground. 

Finally after leaving we went on the Manta, I was really nervous, I had a strange fear of roller coasters ever since I was like five. Probably because in the process of trying to get me over this fear my parents would drag me on to a bunch of rides I was terrified of. But on the flip side looking at the Manta, it didn't look too scary. Just some ups and downs. So I went on with Adri and Brissa. When I actually got on I was just kind of thinking, I can't believe I'm doing this… And it was terrifying but also really fun. I was really proud I had gotten over my fear. 

We got lost for a bit and eventually found the lunch area. I went out to get lunch later and got boba and a salad although I would suggest bringing your own food because it's so expensive. When we finished lunch I split up with my group to go to the Manta again. I rode it two more times before heading back. SeaWorld was really a success for me because I finally had faced my fear.  I would recommend going but definitely bring your own food, because it is expensive!

I have been to Sea World about 20 times and yes I have actually been there that much since I lived in San Diego since 2011. So since I've been here so much, everything new I already know and I already expected everything that I was going to see. 

When we got to the park I was excited to see the majority of my friends in my group. It wasn’t long before we got through security into the park. The park was pretty empty because it was a Tuesday and everyone usually comes during the weekend.

Each group picked their first ride to go on, our’s was the Emperor. The Emperor was the fastest, tallest, and longest drop coaster in the park. It has an insane 143 feet drop which actually most people love that surprises me. I have never been a roller coaster lover because of two reasons. The first being some putting me at an angle to the side. The other being the speed they go at, you can call me scared but I don’t care. 

The Emperor was closed since it opens at 11 so we had an hour to kill, so my friends decided to go on the Manta. This was one of the smallest coasters but still had a lot of turns and even put you at an angle. I have been on this twice but I didn’t like it for many reasons, first being the start. When it moved you to the start, a cave it would project many mantaray on the walls and when they got angry you would accelerate. It basically made sure to accelerate before you expected, then you would get to the first crazy part. It would send you around this tall rock by going down first and then being at an angle towards the rock. Then you would stay at an angle for a good amount of the ride and it was the worst experience I still remember after months. 

So that is how it felt but if you like roller coasters you probably would have enjoyed it since I am biased in not liking them. I was thinking of all the other rides, and I decided to go on none today. Mainly since the majority of them were roller coasters and the rest were water but I was sick the day before so I didn’t want to get wet. 

It became time and we started walking to the Emperor and my friends ran on. Kristan, our group leader, went with them the first time and then came to sit with me as I watched my friends get on constantly. The ride brought you up and then held you looking at the drop for a few seconds before releasing. The drop is insane at a 60 mile 90 degree speed well that’s what the website says who knows if it goes faster. If that isn’t enough then it does a few loops where you go upside down after that before coming back to the exit. 

I don’t understand how people can get so satisfied by rollercoasters like these and keep going again. Well I spent the rest of the time talking to Kristan about my future career since I never met her before. She was a good leader for our group and was nice to talk to.

On the way back I wasn’t regretting going on any rides, I know I don’t like roller coasters so that was fine. The water rides were worth not getting on despite the fun because I did not want to get sick again after yesterday. Well Sea World isn’t the most fun for me but if you are thrilled for roller coasters from all sizes then you would enjoy and should come. Just make sure you can get to San Diego, California before you get excited.

Before going to sea world I was pretty happy but not a lot since I've also gone many times in the past. But just knowing I will be going as a grade and with friends made it sound fun. It was gonna be something new for me since ive never gone with 100+ kids I know to sea world. And i was expecting something chill and fun

The ride to sea world was pretty quick. I was feeling like a regular field trip but excited at the same time. As we got to sea world and got parking there were more kids from different schools coming in so it was a decent sized group in the park so I started to get a bit anxious since we were out there for at least 30 mins. After what felt like forever we finally made it inside and got into groups after another 10-15 minutes we all went our separate ways as groups.

 Out of all the rides I rode, my most memorable one is the journey to Atlantis. I say this because it was the best one to ride as friends and it made memories for me. We were all fighting for the front seat not knowing who ever got it would be in trouble and full of regret. As the ride started climbing up we were all laughing not knowing we would all be soaked by the end. As the ride reached the highest point and got ready to drop we all put our hands up and screamed. I'd quite literally say our eyes flashed before our eyes and saw a wave of water hit us. Everyone starts laughing and getting mad and we say “at least we didn't get that wet” little do we know there's a second drop so we just chill until we see what's coming. We see the drop coming and go “ahhhhh” and boom water splashes all of us and flows into the boat so our pants and shoes get wet. After the ride our clothes are heavy. We will all remember that moment.

Once it was time to take a break from rides we went to go see some animals. I went to go see the stingrays since we could touch them and also found them pretty cool. I also learn cool facts about stingrays I didn't know about. They feel smooth and smiley at the same time. It's weird and they live in really cold waters which I found pretty cool.

Being with my friends at a theme park has to be one of the most peak things I've experienced. It was just a fun thing to remember and do. Some things you should know when going to a theme park is be ready to have some fun! Stay hydrated and eat before you get there food can get pricey.

Before the trip I was siked because I was paired up with my friends for the ride WITH SCOTT, my favorite teacher driver. When we arrived at the sea world I was a little confused since where we got dropped off and went it ive never seen those parts. It was interesting. Going to the first ride me and Brandon ran to electric thingy coaster now were in line kinda close to where we board

Brandon and I looked back to see if we knew anybody in the back, we saw Navi, a girl from the other side. So we were like oh there's Navi, in the BACK OF LINE. Mind you we look back to the front, minutes pass. When we looked back again, Navi was getting closer and closer to us. More than the rest of the line. If you saw the line it wouldn't make sense. Me and Brandon are like wtf, whatever tho. We talk some more. One more pair until we're gonna ride, we cool. But on  the ride before us, we see navi RIDING. Now we were like mindblown yelling at her. It was funny.

 After that, me and Brandon are riding in the front row now, Siked. It goes upside down, we yelling was hella fun. We off now going to the journey of atlantis, Brandon and I. Running again but following Sebs and Diego, so they're in front by a lot, Brandon is slightly in front of me as we are running through the dark tunnel that turns right into a dark room. Sebs was crouching around the corner, waiting for Brandon as he ran down the corner. Sebs perfectly scares him and Brandon jumps. Now we're boutta ride im sitting next to anthony back row Sebs, Brandon front and forgot who in middle but as we going Brandon and Sebs got soaked and anthony and me were completely dry after the ride they were like HOW’D YALL NOT GET WET stuff like that to me and Tony.

 Cut to lunch got a cheese stick absolutely gas each bite kept getting better finish that one time passes seems like a good idea to grab another so I do thinking ima still get that godly experience but NOO not the same at all I don't understand how that stick tasted so different prolly made with expired milk ruined my whole year had to throw it away.

 Brandon asked me to make him a PB&J. I go to make one with him thinking he's gonna get one, while I'm making it I realize I don't even like peanut butter like that so I just get 1 piece of bread and slab some jam on there. I walk to Brandon. He's like why tf do you have 1 bun saddest shit ever he said alot of stuff like that but it was so good, I shoulda got another.

 Cut to after lunch me diego Sebs, B, Coleman run to manta now its only 2 people a row and there's an odd number of us so now I’m stuck in between Brandon and Coleman. I don't wanna be a dick but my mind was already made up from the start so I act like it's a hard decision. We board Coleman rolling solo, run after we go to find Omar because he's calling us but we end up going in circles trying to get to me. Didn't look at any animals. It wasn't even a thought to go see them. Overall, the best time for all fun trips. If I go again I would bring a hat with a string because of the roller coasters it'd fly off.

Before the trip

When I went to seaworld I was really happy to get on the rides and to have a fun time! As I was walking throughout the park, I smelt the scent of salty air and popcorn and it made me feel instantly thrilled, knowing that we were in for a high action packed day. As we got done with the orca show I was ready to go on the electric eel. I was a single rider because I went to Seaworld with my mom and brother and not with my friends.  

During the trip

As I got on the ride I was in the second row on the coaster. Locked in and ready to blast off into the air. SWOOSH. We were off, we were turning and going upside down until the ride came to a stop at the edge of the track. My heart was hammered. We hung there for over 5 minutes looking at the views of San Diego. Although the staff did calm us down when speaking on the speakers. Then it finally dropped into a high speed ride. I yelled louder than I ever have in my life, only because we were going to be on the ground again. When i got out of the coaster a lot of people were asking me what happened and i couldn't even respond to them because of how shocked I still was. I ran straight to my mom to tell her what happened and she didn't believe me one bit.

After the trip

After all that happened I felt exhausted after going on coasters all day and getting stuck on the electric eel. As I sat in the car on the way home I fell asleep while having a slushie in my hand, haha. As I got home I knew that that was going to be one of my favourite experiences at Sea World.

Sea World was a really fun trip and I couldn’t wait to see the new jellyfish aquarium.

Before the trip, I was super excited and prepared. I made sure to eat and apply sunscreen before going because I didn’t want to have to carry any extra things or be sunburnt in the sun all day. It was super windy but hot, the sun was beaming onto each angle while the wind still somehow found a way to make it cold. 

Getting to the park was a little chaotic because there were a lot of us and there were also other schools and people there. Finding my group was pretty easy and we pretty much stayed together the whole time. The rides were really fun, I went on electric eel twice, manta three times and Atlantis. My favorite one is manta because it's not too much or too little so I was comfortable enough to go on a few times. 

At Sea World I saw beluga whales behind a big glass tank. It was really cool, yet really scary. I wasn’t sure what to think because I’ve never really seen an animal so big face to face. I think it was really cool overall and how all the animals get along in such an open habitat. I also learned a few fun facts about them and how they get their food from under the ice. I stayed with my friends the whole time and we all had fun. I was with N’vey, Navi, and Melanie. 

My friends and I got hungry after a while, so we ended up buying ice cream and Italian ice which was really good. I got mango and N’vey got cotton candy. I would definitely recommend buying it.

After the trip on the way back, I felt really tired and exhausted. All I thought about on the drive back was sleeping and resting. As soon as I got home, I took an hour-long nap. This morning I was still very tired, but I thought I might be a little sore. The trip was overall fun and could use some more free time but I would definitely get Italian ice with vanilla ice cream for a second time.

When I went to SeaWorld, I only had one thing in mind. That thing was that I wanted to go on Electric Eel today because I've always been scared of it. Once we got into SeaWorld, my sister asked me are you excited to go on that ride I told her no, I didn't want to go on. Then my sister grabbed me by the ear and told me you'd better go on that ride because that's the only reason I brought you. Then we walked towards the electric eel, and the closer I got, the bigger it looked. The fear and the adrenaline got to me once we got to the ride. I turned back, and I was not going to do it. My sister grabbed me and said you better go on. I had no choice once we were walking up to the line; all I felt was fear, and as I looked up, the taller the roller coaster looked. As the line slowly started to move, it felt closer to death. Once we're at the front, I felt really scared and in fear. It felt like my heart and stomach dropped once it was our turn, and we were on the ride. The worker put my seat belts on. I just felt like I was stuck in the seat, and I had no way to go back. I felt so claustrophobic with the seatbelt. Once everybody on the ride was buckled up, I just heard the ride instructor say, ”Do you guys want a countdown?” Then the right instructor said three two, and then he was supposed to count one, but he let us go at two, which scared me because it was unexpected. As the ride started really fast, I just felt all the wind push and punch my faceIt felt extremely fast I've never been on a roller coaster that scary and fast is it brought back and forth it decided to go all the way up and spin us and then once I was done spinning us it was a ginormous drop As we drop down I felt like my whole body was dropping too 

If you're in San Diego and want to go to an amusement park, go to sea world its really fun, they have everything for all age groups.

I was really excited to be there, cause  I haven't been to SeaWorld in a fat minute, and I got to ride rides for fun, so my group was actually good. I had Liam, Nico, Nahom, and Thomas. It was actually fun. We first went to Manta and Nahom, and I went in the front row, and it didn't hit me that I was in the front till I was in the tunnel. We launched, I remember being pushed back in my seat from the force, and in the front, you get a lot of airtime, and the whole ride, I was up from my seat, hitting the turns was strong because you were the first to feel it. It was so much fun tho after this, they went back on, and I watched them go on it. After this, we touched the manta ray, and it was really cool, but they were really slimy.

After this, we went on a journey to Atlantis, and we rode this ride a lot. I actually rode it 4 times, and the first thing u do is go down a drop and get wet, and lucky i didnt get wet after this, we went on again, and thankfully I didn't get wet.

We went to lunch, and I saw Jordan, Liam, Dezman, and Macrio, and we wanted to buy food well, not me, they did cause it's really expensive, but we ultimately got food, and Jordan and I shared a turkey leg, and ngl it wasn't that good, but it was whatever.

We wanted to see the jellyfish and go on some ride before we had to go. We made it to the jellyfish room, and omg it was really cool, I saw really cool jellyfish. After this, we went on the spring jellyfish ride, and that was fun. After this went on more rides than we had to leave, and my mom picked us up, then stopped at 711 and got a snack, then we went back to school.

I would say go to Sea World, it’s really fun.

Before all the fun I had on this trip, I was exhausted.  I had been tired from late nights of sleep, and my procrastinating was in full effect. I had forgotten to remember to just get my bathing suit and clothes ready, so I could go Paddleboarding in the morning at Mission Point. I was in a rush to get out the door. As I made my way to school, I thought about what car groups I was going to have. Then we did a brief talk about what we were doing and how the groups would work (courtesy of Mr. Amillo). They did not tell us what group we were in until we got to the bay.  When I got in my car group (Sebastian, Santi, and Constantine), we played Spanish music like Juan Marta all the way to the bay. 

 When we finally got there, we had some time to hang around, so some of us were climbing the swing set and just generally having fun. Then I realized that I forgot my backpack and I left it in the back of the car. I was too late to contact my mom and have her turn around, so I just put my phone in my friend's backpack. I saw that some of my classmates were trying to blow up the paddleboards, and I jumped at the chance to help. I helped to fix the broken pump, and when it was replaced, I helped to pump up the inflatable paddleboards. Then Ms. Trica gathered all of the students and had us get into groups. The first station where other students were grouped was paddleboarding; the second group was taking photos and writing down what they saw. The third last group was building sand castles. I was assigned to the third group.

 As I walked over, I took my shirt off because it was hot. I put it down on the nearest bench and began to work on my sand castle. I decided to make a big HTH, as I was in the process of this, I forgot that I had lost my phone, and I began to freak out. I retraced my steps, and just as I got back to the bench where I put down my shirt, I remembered that it was in my shirt. Anyway, I retired to my sand castle. It was hard to angle the letter correctly. My last H was rushed, and I made it too big. 

After the sand building contest, I was taking photos of my classmates. I got photos of them falling in. Then it was my turn to go paddleboarding. When I first decided to go paddleboarding, I chose the paddleboard without a fin so I could get the EE in Mr Amillio’s class. The paddleboard without the fin is way more difficult than the paddleboard with a fin because the back of the paddleboard fishtails. 

After a little while, Charlotte and I switched Paddle boards, and I got to try what a paddle board with a thin felt like.  The difference between a paddleboard with a fin and a paddleboard without a fin is that the paddleboard with a fin has more drag.   We raced to see who could get in the farthest back inside to shore, and I won, but I had the advantage of a double paddle. After I drew how the difference between the two paddles was overall, I just had a lot of fun on this trip. The next morning, I felt like I would do this all over again.  

SeaWorld is a weird place to go to. I recollect that I have only been there 2-3 times in my whole life. I always had fun there, but I’ve always been concerned about the coasters, even when I knew it wasn’t gonna be bad. It has always been this way with roller coasters for me, though, so it was kind of normal at this point. 

The Drive there was fine, it gave me time to process what was about to go down. When the car pulled up behind Seaworld, we finally got to take a good look at the emperor. “Nope”, I told myself. I ain’t going on that thing. I wasn’t going to, at least not today. Waiting in line with people trying to tell which part of the group was confusing. When I finally managed to get into my group, we first walked to the Manta. The first look at the coaster was not short of a sense of surprise. I have already seen it before, but I have never ridden it before. 

Ivan and I took our backpacks off and ran down the stairs and back up through the front gate. The wait was forever, but it was gonna be worth it. I strapped myself in and waited for something to happen, and eventually we took off. We were taken to this cool tunnel, and eventually, we were blasted off. The turns were just as impactful as I expected, and the drops were somewhat tense. Air is basically exploding in my face, pulling my hair back, and my ears could barely hear any of the people's screaming due to the wind blaring in my ears. It was such a fun coaster, I decided to go again afterwards. Next thing we did was walk over to Atlantis, but some of the people in our group wanted to be the emperor, so we split into 3 groups, while Ivan and Luis went to the Arctic Rescue Coaster. 

The coaster itself was kind of intimidating at first glance, with its jet ski blue and gray interior of the walls and the coaster. I was starting to regret my decision to go on this ride. It was too late now. The ride was already starting to pick up the pace, and then we immediately started to go on a nice drop. For a ride that goes incredibly fast, the turns were a lot smoother than the Manta. When we got off, it was automatically 14 minutes until lunch, which was surprising to me. 

Thanks to Luis, I managed to make an FBD from the picture he took of me on the Manta. It was chilly even with the sun shining down on me. After lunch, we went to the Jellyfish Exhibit. The vibrant colors of the glass tanks, along with the darkness of the walls, made for a very nice contrast. I finally ran to Atlantis after the jellyfish ride. The only thing that was underwhelming about the ride was the lack of water that we were soaked with, but I had a plan. Afterwards, I went straight to the splash zone, got close to the railing, and went right where the water was going to hit; that was a huge mistake. Before I knew, my eyes immediately saw a big storm full of water about to wash over me. It felt like I was getting waterboarded; I was so soaked. 

If you are thinking about going to SeaWorld, I recommend it if you are thinking about facing your fears head-on. It is even better if you have some friends to go with. That is what matters.

The morning of our Sea World field trip. I felt a mix of emotions. I was so excited, because my mom was going to chaperone for the first time! Growing up I always wished my mom would chaperone. I would see everyone else's parents tag along, and I just wanted my mom there. Although she was always busy with work.

On the way to Sea World, I was so excited because I love roller coasters. My mom is a big reason why I love roller coasters so much. She never wanted me to be scared of anything. 

Once we arrived at school, I noticed how many kids were actually scared of roller coasters. Some kids' faces looked worried every time their friends would even bring up a roller coaster. On the other hand there were kids that all they could talk about was how excited they were to get on all the roller coaters. I was one of those kids who could not shut up about how excited I was to get on the roller coasters. 

Once we had finally arrived at Sea World, after what felt like a 100 mile line just to get into the parking lot. I saw all my friends and classmates. There were kids who looked like they just saw a ghost when they looked over and saw how close we were to one of the roller coasters. Although I thought to myself I wonder how it feels like to be in their shoes.

 Why are they so scared? I wonder what it feels like to be that scared of a roller coaster. I've always been surrounded by people who love roller coasters. I never understood why other people didn't like them.

I went on every single roller coaster they had to offer. Although I know I said I love roller coasters, one thing I hate about roller coasters is just waiting for it to drop or start. The anxiety that builds but in ur skin. You feel like a roller coaster of emotions. Before the real one even starts. As soon as the ride starts, I start feeling the joy of a 4 year old kid.

One of the most funniest moments I experienced with my peers was when. I overheard Cooper and Martin talking, and then I heard Cooper say “want to be friends”? Martin responded with “nah I’m good, I already have friends”. I don't remember why it was so funny to me. I think because I knew they have always been friends. In advisory they are always talking and playing games together. 

I have a big obsession with Axolotl’s. They are one of my favorite animals. I think they are super cute and cool looking. When I saw that Sea World had a big amount of Axolotl’s. I felt this joy run through my body. I wanted to see them immediately. Every time I see them I feel like it's my first time ever seeing them. I'm always so fascinated.

The date was April 21, 2026, when the entire 9th-grade team came together to SeaWorld. Before the trip, I felt excited to head over there since it had been a while since I last went to the park. SeaWorld, by itself, is one of my favorite parks that I’ve been to besides Universal & Knotts, based on favoritism alone. The drive there was short and sweet, just me looking outside of the car, looking at the sights for the entire ride. When we arrived at the park, we were grouped into a single-file line so that the teachers could keep track of who was there for everyone to head to their assigned groups. It took a while for them to count heads, but it was really tiring to sit there waiting. When everyone was settled, we walked towards the security on the side where the Emperor ride is located. After we got into groups, we parted ways to decide which rides we wanted to take first. 

My group chose the Tentacle Twirl ride first. The ride was pretty nice; it felt like the rides I would go on at the County Fair. After we rode Tentacle Twirl, we chose to go to the Jellyfish Experience, which was really mesmerizing to be in, given how the lighting in the building looked. While looking at the jellyfish, it gave a tiny tear shed from imagining my grandma as a jellyfish, kinda like a spirit animal of some kind, but that’s besides the point. When we finished the exhibit, we were stumped about what to do next until Trisha suggested going to Manta, and we all agreed. We walked to Manta, and most of the group sat out while 6 of us went on the ride. We were separated into 3 carts while we waited, and it took a while for everyone to go on each one. I went by myself on one of the carts while everyone had already gone. The ride was really enjoyable to be on, especially at the beginning, which gets you because it rocks you back and forth, then it launches you forward at 43 miles per hour. I felt the breeze from it going so fast, the track feeling it. 

After the ride ended, I went on a second time just for the fun of it. When we were done with those rides, we went to check out the animal exhibits nearby before it was time for lunch. We checked out axolotls, sea turtles, sea lions, dolphins, orcas, and mantas. When we checked those exhibits, it was time to head over to the pier for lunch. Lunch was pretty decent; it was mostly just my team filling out the handout we were doing, while the other team was just doing a Q&A on their experience when they headed back to school. After lunch, we explored the exhibits more that we hadn’t seen before lunch, but after a while, all of us went back to the Atlantis area. 

While waiting for everyone else to head back to the area, I was hanging out near the splash zone near the Atlantis ride when my friend Julian decided to risk it all and stood at the splash zone and got soaked on his front side. It was really funny how much of his body got wet. After waiting a while, everyone gathered up near the Emperor, and we were on our way out of the park. The ride back to school was really nice, even if it was short-lived. Waking up the day after felt nice, given how relaxing it felt not being at the park.  In the end, being at the park was fun, along with hanging out with my friends.

If you want to have fun on rides, eat great food, and overall have a good time? I recommend going to SeaWorld if you haven’t gone or want to go back.

On April 20, 2026 High Tech’s ninth graders went on a field trip to SeaWorld specifically to do another free body diagram and to reflect on fear felt when on roller coasters. I will now get into more detail on my experience with a recommendation at the end.

Before the trip I was feeling tired and was just expecting the basic amusement park and attractions from sea world. After arriving at the park I was bored and somewhat excited. I was in a group with Juan and a few other people I get along with. After grouping up we went on a ride called “tentacle twirl”  which was just you getting twirled on a swing in the air.

Once the ride started I was excited from the adrenaline rush and was actually having fun while the feeling of my organs moving was calming.

Once I got off the ride I was instantly bored again but the ride was actually fun which I did not expect. We then walked to the jelly fish exhibit which was somewhat interesting mainly because I had to learn about an animal, but I thought the overall design of the exhibit was cool. Once we left the exhibit we went to the rollercoaster named “manta” I decided not to go on this one primarily because I was not feeling so well and I didn’t like the sharp turns in general on the ride.

 While other people went on manta I looked at dolphins with the rest of the group, which was unfortunate because I despise dolphins and their ability to be brutally clever and come up with the most intelligent ways to kill sharks. I absolutely love sharks with my favorite being the big eyed thrusher shark and I genuinely find it somewhat sad how dolphins kill sharks along with other animals in meticulous ways. 

After looking at dolphins in absolute grimace I was bored and irritated that the shark encounter was closed for some reason. While I did not get to see the shark exhibit I was able to pet a baby shark which I enjoyed. Soon after all the attractions and rides we went to lunch and Edgar bought Devin and I a 37 dollar 2 pizza and 2 soda bundle offer because sea world would not accept cash so we paid Edgar with our physical money and he bought the food through digital transaction. After purchasing food Devin and I went to touch the bat rays which was a fun experience. We then went back to the lunch spot and then all the 9th graders broke up back into our groups.

Once we broke back into our groups my group went on journey to Atlantis for the remainder of our time to go for rides. I did not go on the ride and just waited around for our group to come back, I watched Julian Rick get willingly soaked by water in the splash zone of the ride which was funny to see. After that memorable moment I regrouped with my group and we walked to the exit area. I waited and waited with my car group to go back to school and Juan Salazar’s mother finally arrived. Overall the event was memorable and I highly recommend going on every ride possible and spending time seeing some attractions. I would watch for food prices because most of the food can be expensive with a lower amount of portions you would expect. I’d also recommend sunscreen and some basic neck stretches if you plan to go on fast rides to prevent strain on your neck. 

I WOKE UP SO LATE! 

That's what was playing in my head the whole time. Since I had missed a day before this trip I decided to finally go, but today was a field trip, and I woke up a bit late… As I was getting ready for school I kept texting my friend for information, I decided to let my mom drop me off at seaworld. Once we started to drive I felt so anxious with so many thoughts running in my head. As we drove in with my mom on the phone with a teacher I heard small yells of my name, EMELI AND ALANA! I waved at them as we came closer.

I hop out the car saying bye to my mom, my friends chat with my mom as I was getting out of the car. As I talk with them for a while I then ask, “So what group am I in?”. Then that's when I heard the worst news ever… we weren't in the same group. I quickly ask why aren't we, they answer saying they didn't know either. We head to the teacher who assigned groups to ask for the reason why, then that's where we find out we didn't put the same answer for one of the questions. We tried to negotiate but it didn’t budge him, we then gave up. 

Once we got in I stood with my group to go on the first ride, sadly I had put small rides for my friends but they didn't put that either. Luckily I was with another friend of mine.

The first one we went on was the jelly fish ride, it was a simple one and fresh from the heat of that day. Then after that we had went into look in the jelly fish exhibit beside it.

The second ride was manta, one of my favorite rides. I comforted my friend as we waited, then it was our turn to go on. It was very fun, then after we went to look at the sting rays and pet them. I did NOT like the feeling of them. After that we went to look at the sea lions. I had facetimed my friend since I missed them, I showed them funny looking sea lions.

At lunch I finally got to see my friends! I ate the small candy my mom had packed me for lunch.

We chatted and did the work sheet they had handed out. It had felt calming from all the walking we did before.

After lunch me and my friend switched groups to go onto more rides, we went onto manta for two more times. Then we walked to Journey To Atlantis, we went on and got slightly soaked.

Once we got off we headed to Emperor. As we walked we saw my friends and quickly ran to them, we then all went onto the ride and had so much fun together

I loved Sea World and glad I had friends to hang out with throughout the trip. 

I LOVE SEA WORLD. I think it’s an amazing experience to go even if you don't like roller coasters, since there are different shows to watch and they are very calming.

When I woke up, I was really excited because we were going to Sea World. I really like Sea World because there are a lot of sea creatures there. But the reason why we were going to sea world is because of the roller coasters. I’ve never been on a roller coaster before so I was nervous.

When I got to school I was watching Tiktok on my phone and talking to some friends. And then they revealed our groups for the rides. I was in the emperor group but I didn’t know what ride emperor was. So when I searched it up and saw that it was a big roller coaster with a massive drop, I did not want to go on it.

When it was time to leave, I met up with my car group and left. While driving there, me and my group were talking about shows and movies. When we got there, we were one of the first groups to get there. I was waiting around and talking to my friends for about 20 minutes before we got into the park.

When we were ready to get into the park, they told us to stand in a single file line. After that we started walking to the park, and then we went through a metal detector. After that I met up with my group and we started going to the first ride, manta.

When we got to manta, I didn’t want to go on the ride but after a while I followed my group that was already there. When I caught up with my group they were about to get on but I got there before they got on. So I got on the ride and sat with someone. When we were about to go, they made an old guy get off in front of me. When the ride started we went in a tunnel and there was a giant manta ray on the top of the tunnel. Then the gate opened and we were shot out and started going in twists and turns and it felt like I was going to fall out. And then when it was time to get off, my legs were shaking and it felt like I was going to have a heart attack.

When I got back to my chaperone my group went again but I stayed behind and started scrolling on Tiktok. When they got back, we went to go to the Emperor next. When we got there I stayed behind with two other people. They went on the ride 7 times. When they were still on the ride, me and some other people went to ride Journey to Atlantis.

I was hesitant at first to not go on, but after a little while I decided that I would go on. They were already ahead of me so I started running to them. When I caught up with them, I sat in the 3rd row with one of my friends. When the ride started, we started going upward and then we got to a big drop. And then we started to go down the drop. And at the bottom there was a pool of water so we all got wet but I got wet the most. After that we started to go up a lift that was carrying us up to a big drop. When we got to the part where the drop was going to happen, the gate opened and we shot out going in twists and turns. When we got to the end, there was another big splash but I didn’t get that wet this time.

After that we got off and went back to our group but they were still on the emperor so we waited till they got off. After they got off we went to eat lunch. We were the last group to get to the lunch area. My friends and I went to get pizza from the food place.

After lunch, my group and I went to go to the electric eel roller coaster. They went on for a couple of times and after that we got ready to leave. So we met up with everyone else and found our car group and left.

When we got back to school it was time for x block but I didn’t feel like doing it so I just sat and did work. After school, I went to my mom’s car and left.

I recommend this place if you like sea creatures because you get to learn a lot about them and you can also touch them. And if you also like big roller coasters you should go because at Sea World, there are really big roller coasters like the Emperor and the Electric Eel.

Did I think I would be soaking wet after going on Atlantis? No. 

On the way to Sea World I felt nervous, but not because we will be going on rides, because I didn't know who was in my group. Unfortunately I only had 1 friend in my group and the rest of my friends were in a group together. That caused me to feel upset when I arrived at Sea World but thankfully my group and my friends group stuck together the whole time.

 The first thing we were supposed to do was go on the ride Emperor, but Emperor didn't open until 11 AM. While we waited for Emperor to open my group and I went on Electric Eel. I thought I was going to sadly ride it alone but my friend appeared out of nowhere and we got to ride it together. 

When I got off the ride it was finally close to 11 so my group and I started heading towards Emperor. I really was hoping to go on the front row but the line was outrageous. Before going on the ride I didn't feel nervous but as I got on and the ride started moving I felt scared. Once I got off I got on it a second time but that time I went on the back row. 

It was getting hot outside and it was almost time for lunch so me and all my friends decided to go on Atlantis. We didn't want to get super wet so we all went to the back rows. For some reason I was super nervous to do this ride and that was because when I was little this ride gave me the most stomach drop feeling. But when we did the big drop I surprisingly felt no butterflies at all. I would say this ride was my favorite because I was with all my friends and while we were waiting to go on the elevator part we all started doing water fights. Throughout the whole ride I felt cold because of how soaked I was! Once we went to the elevator I realized that they changed the ride, before the elevator would just go up but that time the elevator went up and side to side but it was fun. The ride finished and once I got off it became one of my core memories. 

After Atlantis it was lunch time and the walk to the place we were going to eat was far, but it was worth it because it was right near the bay. I unfortunately didn't have a credit card to buy anything so I just ate a peanut butter sandwich and accompanied my friends to go buy ice cream . 

Lunch time was over and my group and I went on Manta, it was fun. Since the ride Manta had Bat Rays right below it, I looked at them for a while. You could also pet them and I only petted one because they felt slimy. 

As the day ended I went on one last ride which was Emperor in the front row, it was such a fun experience. Going back home was like a blessing because I needed the rest. Overall Sea World with my classmates was super fun and I would definitely do it again. 

If you plan to go to Sea World, go in the morning when there are not many people so you can get on as many rides as you want. Make sure you bring a credit card because they don't accept cash. Lastly, enjoy your day with the ones you love the most.

When approaching the grounds of Seaworld, I was thrilled, excited to see jellyfish, take photos, ride rides, and spend time with friends! At first, that joyous feeling remained, until we got in line for Manta. 

Now Manta isn’t a crazy roller coaster, I went on it when I was seven, but having been on Arctic Rescue a few months prior, I was terrified of ANY ride at SeaWorld, minus the ones for kids. 

I remember freaking out in line, my friends giving me pep talks and hugs of encouragement. When the time came to sit down, I felt this rush of really bad anxiety flood my senses. I began to breathe really fast and quietly panic. I was reminded of that scene from Final Destination 3 where Wendy starts freaking out at the start of the ride, begging to get off. 

But I didn’t beg, I didn’t get off, I just sat there and took a deep breath. Brissa was super supportive and offered to get off the ride. As soon as I told her I felt like I was having a panic attack, she immediately turned towards the operator to ask if we could get off. 

At that moment, I weirdly wasn’t so scared anymore. 

I wanted to do this.

Flash forward to when the ride was over and it was actually super fun. I even wanted to go on it again!

After riding Manta, we got to see some really cool animals! My favorite were the jellyfishes. I’ve always been a big fan of them and their exhibit was so peaceful. If I could be a sea animal, I’d choose to be a jellyfish. Floating throughout the sea and glowing in vibrant colors just seems like such a dream. After seeing the jellyfish, we approached a gift shop, trying on fun vibrant squid hats and taking pictures. We saw a few more exhibits and then left Seaworld. 

The trip itself ended up being a lot more fun than expected. I made fun memories, faced some fears, and learned cool things! While it may not be the “best amusement park ever” it’s still a pretty cool experience and I would recommend it. However, it’s still pretty pricey, and the rides there can be kind of crazy so it’s important to keep that in mind!

I arrived in Ezekiel’s moms car anticipating this day for months. I immediately met up with Ruben, Ethan, and Nico and started sizing up the roller coasters (the only thing I was here for.) After piling through the metal detector I made my way to the manta ray ride with my group. After a short line I sat in the front with Nico and the ride was fast but it left a lot to be desired. The next ride I went on was the emperor, I sat in the back with Ruben and Nico.

I had no idea what to expect from this ride. Once we got to the top it felt like I could see all of San Diego and then we sat there dangling for what felt like hours. Suddenly we start rolling down and keep spreading up until we’re thrown into loop after loop constantly spinning and flipping. Shortly after the ride came to a stop and we climbed off still in a bit of shock.  We met up with our group then migrated to the cleaner fish exhibit. I thought the fish were too freaky so I passed but I watched my friends stick their hands in the water. 

Then came lunch and I walked around the park for 30 minutes with Thomas and Macario looking for a slushee and I didn't even find one. I came back to the lunch area and proceeded to spend the rest of the trip with Ethan, Nico, and Ruben. On the way back we stopped at 7/11 and Ezekiel kept rushing me, and Ethan ate 7 taquitos. We got back to school and I left almost immediately not wanting to be there much longer. If you plan on going to seaworld I recommend the jellyfish exhibit and the electric eel and emperor rides.
