Allan Manzano, is a graphic designer with 20 years of experieance working with companies such as Quiksilver, Sony, Toyota, Belkin and Apple. He is also an educator in three different school's, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Arizona State University, and San Diego State. He was also involved in some notable projects such as the Microsoft Zune logo, iPod silhouette ads between the Mid-Late 2000s, and many other's. He was born and raised in Southeast San Diego in 1978, by his parents, which they moved from the Philipines, one being from the Navy and the other as doing data entry. orignally he wanted to be a Navy Seal, but studied Civil Engineering, which he later switched to Commercial Design due to his passion with art.
Some advice I would give is that be prepared, know what kind of project are wyou willing to do first, before you go all over the place. Be persistent, have confidence, and never give up your project you have made, this is importaint not only just for your high school year, but for your future and who you really want to be.
