Summit Goals
Build a community of Earth science CTC faculty and advisors in Washington and surrounding states, and build relationships between all undergraduate institutions that facilitate sharing of ideas and improved programs
Engage key stakeholders in discussions about Earth science pathways through a lens of guided pathways and equity
Identify threshold concept(s), competencies, and self-regulatory strategies that lead to successful transfer
Define successful transfer and identify obstacles that impede students in Earth science
Explore and initiate future collaborations across colleges and institutions
Identify next steps in improving transfer at both the institutional level, between institutions, and in Washington state overall

Travel Expenses
Food and lodging will be provided for registrants
Mileage will be reimbursed
Childcare
We cannot provide direct childcare support. However, if an individual needs childcare to attend, they may request a larger than single-occupancy room so that the parent/guardian is able to bring an additional person to accompany them to provide childcare, thus allowing the parent/guardian to participate in all aspects of the Summit.
