Education Workshops
Beyond the support SHARE provides our schools and students, the committee works to bring various prevention and mental health awareness workshops to our adult community annually. Topics such as suicide prevention, ethics, current drug trends, mental health intervention strategies, vape education are some of the the topics brought to our community members. These programs are funded, in part by our local ADAMH Board along with a minimal participant fee which helps cover the cost of the workshop and also helps financially support our Student programs.
SHARE Breakfast
Annually SHARE celebrates two seniors from each school district who have been leaders in prevention within their district. We also recognize a community member who has dedicated themselves to helping the youth of Medina County. SHARE showcases these individuals, its programs, activities, and events of the school year through a celebratory breakfast with various participants from law enforcement, judicial, school, and other local youth partners (the breakfast is provided at no cost with generous donations from our local FOP/FOPA,The Medina County Chief Association, and ADAMH Board).
