How are we taking attendance?

Attendance in the VLA world is definitely different than you see in an in-person classroom. As far as we are concerned, a student is counted as 'present' provided he/she is showing as blue or green on the coursework progress screen.

If a student turns red, he/she is considered absent. The easiest way to manage this is to have students working slowly and steadily through the coursework in each content area. You can monitor this on the student or parent dashboard view.
