I graduated high school from Richland Center High School and then attended Winona State University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Health Education. I taught Elementary Physical Education in Shakopee, MN for 9 years and earned my Master's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota. In 2011, we decided to move back home to Wisconsin to be closer to family and I was (and continue to be) extremely grateful for the opportunity to work at Highland Community Schools.

I currently live in Highland with my three children - Brody who just graduated from Highland Community Schools this last May and is attending the University of Wisconsin- Platteville at Richland, Bennett who is a sophomore and Bella who is a 7th grader.
