Unidad 1: ¿Cómo soy yo?
In this unit, students will be able to talk about who they are as a person as well as qualities and characteristics that differentiate people. Students will be able to talk about people and events in both the present and past tenses (preterit and imperfect). Students will be able to write about people, activities, events, and experiences, prepare materials for a presentation, and talk about people, activities, events, and experiences in their famous latino/a paper and presentation for the class. Unidad 2: La Moda y su Importancia en el Mundo Hispanohablante y en mi Vida
Students will learn a plethora of vocabulary to describe cultural fashion norms. Students will compare and contrast their fashion with those in the Spanish-speaking world while learning about Hispanic designers. The unit will culminate with "Un Desfile de Moda"! Más prácticas y información
Unidad 3: La Música en Mi Vida
Students will explore Spanish-speaking artists, instruments, and genres. With lyrics as our guide and resource, students will learn about the various uses of the Spanish word "se" (reflexive, reciprocal, impersonal, passive) and review direct and indirect object pronouns. Más práctica y información
