Adults in Grasshopper Class

Hello everyone! I am so looking forward to having you all in Grasshopper Class and being lucky enough to start your school journey with you. I have been a teacher in Reception for a number of years with just a short break to have my own daughter. I can’t wait to get to know you all and find out your interests! I love teaching phonics and helping you on your journey to become readers and explorers of the future. We have a large inside and outside area that we use daily to encourage movement and mindfulness. I can’t wait to meet you all and start the new year together!

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new teacher this year! I have had the pleasure of working in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for a number of years, and I am incredibly excited to embark on this learning journey with you in Reception. We will explore new ideas, make friends, and have lots of fun while discovering the world around us. I can’t wait to see all the brilliant things we will achieve together. Let’s make this year memorable and enjoyable, filled with laughter and learning. Here’s to a fantastic adventure ahead!

Hello to all the new Grasshoppers I am looking forward to meeting you all to share your first experience at High Halstow. I have worked in early years for a long time, so I will help you settle into your new class supporting you on your journey. I like listening to all of your fun experiences, sharing stories and getting creative by helping you to make playdough!
