HISD Proof of residency

Beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, all Hico ISD students must show Proof of Residency (POR) which is valid for one school year and must be renewed each year prior to the first day of school.  Students will not be allowed to enroll until Proof of Residency (POR) has been completed.  Please see below for requirements.  You may submit online HERE

NEW students

Hico ISD NEW Student Proof of Residency Requirements (POR)

If your living situation is not listed above, please contact the campus secretary. 


*A water/electric/gas/trash deposit receipt with your name and HISD service address will be accepted temporarily at the time of Proof of Residency (POR). The first monthly water/electric/gas bill you receive must be submitted within 30 days to the campus where the deposit receipt was given.  Disconnect notices on water/electric/gas bills will not be accepted. 







Returning students
