Hicksville Music Rocks! Connections Edition

Normally this time of year we would be gathering in the High School auditorium for our District Band, Chorus and Orchestra concerts that. These concerts would highlight musicians from every level, and give our elementary students an up close look at what their hard work will look like when they're in Middle and High School. Even though COVID regulations make that impossible this year, we wanted to make sure our youngest students had the opportunity to interact with our most experienced. You will find the results of this collaboration below.

Members of our High School music department recorded excerpts or music that our wonderful Elementary school musicians are currently working on, and these videos were "duetted" so that these musicians could perform "TOGETHER!", albeit virtually. A huge thank you to the High School and Elementary music teachers that worked to put these videos together, and a HUGE THANK YOU to the students that participated. ENJOY!
