Welcome & Bio

Hello, my name is Ms. Banks. This is my first year teaching. I have been working in a classroom for over 15 years either as an assistant, tutor, mentor, or a volunteer. I love sports and coach basketball at HHS.

Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as a school bus driver and as a call center representative. I attended CVCC and Appalachian State University where I studied business administration, early childhood education, and elementary education.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family, baking/cooking, going to sporting events, and attending church. Check out some of my family pictures below.
