The system also updated the risk index of Alex and Betty: Alex became high-risk 70%, as he spent a lot of time with Sara in close contact, while Betty, who met Sara just for a little while, had her index increased from 10% to 25%. Her health-badge turned from green to yellow.
All the other people that Sara got close to in the last few days (even if she doesn’t know them) will have their index updated by the algorithm.
What happens to Alex?
His health-badge became orange. He required medical attention to confirm the contagion. The national health system knew already and the intervention was prioritized. In the meantime, the app told Alex to stay under voluntary quarantine, and it gave him recommendation to avoid to spread further. A simple survey assessed how he was feeling. Those data are loop-back into the system for a better prioritization and statistics.
