Goal setting is vital for your success. Did you know that written goals are over 80 percent more likely to be achieved? Imagine the possibilities! Write down 2 goals (one short-term goal, to be achieved next week and one long-term goal, to be achieved in 1 year) in your personal or professional life and then add the necessary steps to accomplish those goals. Create a word document with your goals and steps and upload it to this Padlet.
I created a Smore https://www.smore.com/zf1hk/edit?ref=show_author for expressing my short- and long-term professional goals. I got to know this interesting tool via an eTwinning Learning event: 'Learning in a museum'.
HOW does it work? Students are given a sheet of rubber-like material, from which they need to create “creative” glasses in groups of four. These “creative” glasses will enable them to see things from a different perspective. However, in this case, the process is more relevant than the output. Students are given 20 minutes to create their glasses. They are free to leave the classroom and use the resources at hand. PROBLEM: There are no scissors given nor at sight, but if they find any, of course they can use them.
