St Joseph showed confidence when he was asked by God to look after his Son here on Earth. We show confidence by engaging with a curriculum which fosters equal opportunities and enables the development of each individual child’s gifts and talents. 

I am confident when:

• I keep going even when I find things difficult.

Our Lady, Mary, showed compassion when she visited her cousin Elizabeth at the news she was expecting the birth of John. We show compassion by creating a climate based on respect, justice and trust that affirms the uniqueness, self-worth and dignity of the individual. 

I show compassion when:

• I treat everyone as I would like to be treated.

• I do simple acts of kindness to show my love. 

• I show my love for God by caring for others.

• I give my time to help others.

• I share what I have with others.

St Michael showed courage by defending God and Heaven. We show courage by sharing our faith within our community, which develops each individuals relationship with God and the world, through a variety of forms of worship and service. 

I show courage when:

• I ask for help.

• I make the right choices.

• I stand up for what is right.

• I can reflect on the choices I have made.

• I am not afraid to fail.
