Welcome to another Exciting Year at

                                         Holy Family Regional Catholic School

                                                                         2023-2024

At Holy Family Regional Catholic School, we realize the importance of providing each student with the support they need to reach their potential. We are committed to identifying and addressing the unique learning style of every student. A Personalized Student Action Plan is developed for those students with a diagnosed learning/medical disability who, in spite of these challenges, are able to function in the regular classroom. A student with an identified need may come to Resource for support of a learning difficulty. The Resource teacher(s) will employ techniques needed to help these students overcome or compensate for their disability. Some students may receive individualized or small group instruction on a regular basis instead of attending Spanish. At other times the Resource teacher(s) may work directly in the classroom in conjunction with the classroom teacher. By doing this, the Resource teacher(s) forge a bond with the classroom teacher to maximize growth for each student.

Included in each student's Action Plan is a list of Accommodations/Modifications for the classroom teacher to follow in order to provide students with the environment/instruction needed for them to succeed. This may include limiting distractions, seating close to the center of instruction and providing students with a written example of verbal instructions.

The goal of Resource is to remediate each student so that they are able to function with minimal support or independently at grade level. Resource promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive atmosphere. It is our mission to work cooperatively with families, students, community, colleagues, and other professionals in order to promote each student’s success and well-being as he/she prepares for future endeavors.
