My name is Miss Barnard and I am so excited to meet all of you! As a recent graduate with a degree in Art Education, I am looking forward to starting my career in teaching the young bright minds of today. My four years at Seton Hill University have shaped my love and passion for the arts, and building connections and creativity within young students. Art education is so important and I am honored to be able to provide a stepping stone and teach my students how they can utilize art in various ways throughout their lives.
I am proficient in various artmaking mediums, including but not limited to, oil and acrylic painting, ceramics, raku firing, gas welding, metalsmithing, charcoal and graphite drawing, watercolor, oil and chalk pastels, 3D sculpture, and printmaking. Although my personal favorites within my own work are oil or acrylic painting, as well as charcoal drawing. I have also found much freedom and creative passion through clay as a medium thanks to the ceramic skills I developed at Seton Hill.
I look forward to meeting all of you, and cannot wait to watch you grow and help you discover that every child is an artist! If you need to message me please use email, caitlin.barnard@hfrcs.org. I will be working at Holy Family on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.
