School Council

During the autumn term, children, families and the local community donated items for Holt Farm Junior School’s ‘Helping Hands of Rochford project. The School Council were able to deliver over fifty bags of goodies to local residents. Many of these were recommended by parents , our local council, day centres and local churches. Each Helping Hands bag contained sixteen gifts which included: festive treats, presents, toiletries and a few everyday essentials. With so many donations, the School Council was also able to deliver additional bags and boxes of produce to Hawkwell Baptist Church and Hockley and Hawkwell Social Centre so that even more residents were able to benefit from the huge generosity of Holt Farm Junior School families.

The School Council were pleased to receive so many thank you cards and letters from the local residents that they delivered to, they certainly appreciated our kindness and care.

Thank you to everybody at Holt Farm Junior School and the School Council - we really shared that we care.
