In June the district began to convene working subcommittees to examine the following elements to return to school: Governance, Wellness, Instruction, Post-Secondary, Facilities, School Operations, and Technology. Each subcommittee contributed to our decision-making and was essential to make sure all voices were heard and represented in the planning efforts.

Governance Committee
The Governance Committee meets 1-2 times a week to analyze the data, feedback and information from the subcommittees and ultimately create a plan to return to school.

Surveys and Feedback
Surveys and Feedback
In June, nearly 700 students, parents, and faculty and staff members responded to the district administered surveys on remote learning, well-being and social-emotional learning. The purpose of the surveys was twofold:
to gather feedback on our transition to remote learning in March, and
to discern preferences for instructional models for the September.
