Q: What if a link is blocked from one of my teacher resources?

Q: What if my child is all caught up on their schoolwork?

A: Limit screen time and encourage other engaging activities like board games, puzzles, outside play or sending a letter to a loved one.

Q: What if my chromebook is not working from home?

A: Please email us at the help desk

Q: Why are videos taking so long to load or are blocked?

A: A couple of things may be occurring if you are experiencing trouble viewing videos.

1) The Internet and Google in general are experiencing a massive uptick in use of video-conferencing tools. We are asking teachers to keep their videos under 5 minutes or less so that students don't experience an extensive lag time in opening.

2) Choose the download option if a second window opens and let the video download right to your device (again, be patient as it might take a few minutes).

3) Sign out of your device and back in. As simple as that sounds, the policy will not update for your device unless you log out and log back in.

Q: Will my child's be graded during this time away?

A: We are asking teachers to provide review material and supplemental work while we are on extended break. Any online quizzes or papers submitted during this time, will not be factored into your child's report card. It is, however, extremely important to keep your child(ren) connected to their school routine. As parents/guardians/caretakers, make sure they are flexing their brain muscles in all areas of our curriculum- art, music, PE, ELA, math, science and social studies. Our social-emotional wellness depends on staying connected and keeping a learning routine.
