Kia ora! I grew up in Kirikiriroa and have a deep connection to the ocean, especially the beautiful Coromandel coastline. My whānau originally comes from Taranaki. I have always been passionate about education and the power of digital learning to uplift and empower aakonga.

Malo le soifua manuia and Warm Pacific Greetings. My name is Junior Si’ilata and I come from the beautiful islands of Samoa, Tonga and Fiji. I am the Across School Teacher for Pacific Peoples Pedagogy, where I support schools in engaging with Pasifika students, their families, and the wider community. Currently, I serve as the Pasifika Dean and the leader of the Aiga Tasi Programme at Fraser High School, where I teach Pacific Studies. In addition to my teaching roles, I am honoured to serve as the Chairman of the Waikato Pasifika Teachers Association.
