Writing

This year our first writing unit will focus on patriotism. Students will research the history of patriotism in our country and develop a concrete understanding of what it means to them.

Students will explore different roles in early Egyptian civilization and compose an imaginary narrative on a day in the life of an Egyptian.

Students will research different Greek gods, goddesses, titans, and other characters that played a part in Greek Mythology and will argue which had one of the harshest punishments or consequences.
