I am pleased to welcome you and your child to second grade! Second grade is an exciting year filled with new independence and increasing abilities. It is a year where concepts from earlier learning are reinforced and built upon. Yet, the students are beginning to read and write to learn instead of learning to read and write.
This year marks my very first year teaching for Hesperia Unified. I am very eager and excited to utilize my knowledge in the classroom. I graduated high school at 15 years old, and immediately started working towards my associated degree at Victor Valley College, I completed my Associates in Child Development and received my Bachelors of Education and Special Education from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. I have worked with children in various capacities for over 10 years, in children ranging from newborns to high schoolers. Hesperia is an amazing community, which I am proud to be a part of both as a parent and teacher. My husband and I have two wonderful children. We also have a very spunky beagle named Molleigh.
