Hello,

My name is Cindy Ruiz and I am happy to be a part of team Topaz.

My educational background begins in Hesperia Unified School District. I graduated from Hesperia High School (Go Scorpions!) and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in History with a minor in English at the beautiful University of California, Santa Barbara. I gave a year of service in Little Rock, Arkansas through City Year. While in Little Rock, I met President Clinton, but most importantly confirmed my passion in education.

Concluding my year of service, I pursued my teaching credential in Fort Worth, Texas. I became a certified bilingual education teacher and served Fort Worth Independent School District for four years. Concluding my fourth year of teaching, I decided there was no place like home and applied to teach in the district that watched me grow.

Today, I am happily a member of the wonderful staff at Topaz Preparatory Academy and look forward to the many things that are to come.

Mi nombre es Cindy Ruiz y estoy contenta de ser parte del equipo de Topaz.

Mi educación empezó en el Distrito Escolar de Hesperia. Yo me recibi de Hesperia High School (Vamos Escorpiones!) y recibí mi bachillerato en Historia con un énfasis en Inglés de la hermosa Universidad de Santa Bárbara. Di un ano de servicio en Little Rock, Arkansas por medio de City Year. Mientras estuve en Little Rock, conoci a el presidente Clinton, pero más importante confirme mi pasión en la educación.

Concluyendo mi año de servicio, busqué mi licenciatura de maestra en Fort Worth, Texas. Me certifique como maestra bilingüe y serví al Distrito Independiente de Fort Worth for cuatro años. Terminando mi cuarto año de maestra, decide que no hay lugar como hogar y applique para enseñar en el distrito que me veo crecer.

Hoy, felizmente soy miembra de la linda comunidad de Topaz Preparatory Academy y estoy ilusionada por las cosas que vendrán.
