My philosophy: "All students have the right to be heard, valued and respected, and are capable of learning and growing in a safe and nurturing environment."

The goal of my counseling program is to ensure all students develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that will lead to behaviors that support academic achievement and social-emotional well-being. 

Kingston counseling program will provide a variety of services throughout the school year for students, parents, and families in order to support that growth. These services include:

• Community Referrals and Resources

• Staff and community training in Mental Health 

• Classroom lessons 

• Crisis Intervention

• Positive Behavior Support

• Short-term Individual/Group Counseling

• Chats with the counselor (Parents and Caregivers)
