Assessments:Â
Q - Will the district provide CFAs or any kind of assessment district-wide?
A - Assessments (CFAs) will be decided upon in PLCs. For grades 3rd-12th we do encourage your teams to look at IABsÂ
Refining process -Â
Q - When will we check back in to ensure we selected the âcorrectâ standards?
A - We will reserve one date per cohort to come together to review and refine each school year. Coaches will gather feedback from sites quarterly

A - Our current district adoptions are:

A - Please refer to the districtâs instructional playbook for resources.
Funding to support implementation:Â
Q - Will the district provide additional funds to support implementation (i.e. manipulatives, subscriptions, etc.)?Â
A - Through the planning for the site spending plan SPSA, the site can determine the need for supplemental resources
Q - Do we have to teach everything?
A - Essential standards were selected and determined by the team to be âviableâ meaning that it is feasible to do within the allotted time. Please keep notes on what worked well and what may need refinement which we will review at our check-in meeting next year.

Q-Why canât we just keep doing our own individual site essential standards decisions?Â
A - As a district, we're working to ensure consistent and equitable instruction for all students, regardless of which school they attend. By standardizing essential standards, we can reduce variability and provide a more consistent learning experience.
