HHS/HES Welcome Back!

 

Hello,

            Welcome back! I look forward to working with all of you this semester! Please note the following information. 

HES BAND:

I am in the process of scheduling a visit from Music Doctors. This company will come set up at the high school mainly for our new band students. This is where students can purchase their band book. I ask that all 6th grade students get the Essential Elements 2000 book designated for their instrument. If any student needs assistance or if I need to make arrangements, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.  

Music Doctors will also be there to talk with band families about purchasing an instrument. Of course this is NOT required, but if  you are interested in purchasing an instrument, they will have all the information for that. Typically there are a number of ways to purchase an instrument, so it is worth at least discussing to see if one of the possibilities works with your price range. Again, students may continue to use school instruments, so this is not required. 

HHS BAND:

            Fruhauf will be visiting the band Thursday, September 2nd, at 4 PM, to size students for shoes and other marching attire. Gloves typically cost less than $5 and shoes typically around $40.
