About Me
Hey, I’m Eli. Communications Coordinator and Software Technician are my titles; problem-solving and creativity are my core functions. Since June 2022, I’ve supported Herrin CUSD #4 in many capacities including accounts payable, public relations, media production, state reporting, tech support, and more. I strive to bring professionalism and consistency to our district communications and aim to position Herrin CUSD #4 as a top contender for prospective staff and families.
At work, I’m passionate about improving processes, showcasing our students’ hard work through photography, and continually teaching myself new skills. Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends - whether we’re at the campground, on the disc golf course, or at church.
What's up with the "AMI" tag?
You might notice an "AMI" tag on my email signature - it’s more than just a doodle! "AMI" stands for Amistad, my home base within the HES House System. Being part of a House is about building community, character, and connection. I’ve been chosen to be part of House Amistad alongside two of my favorite people (my boys!), and we take our House pride seriously. The House system is designed to foster friendship, healthy competition, and a sense of belonging across the school. So, when you see that tag, just know I’m repping my house!
