Welcome to 2020-2021 school year! I am thrilled to be your child’s fifth grade teacher. Although this year will look different than past years, it is my hope that we can all work together to stay healthy and safe. I look forward to working with you to secure success in your child’s education. If you have not had a chance to read the reopening plan, please take some time to do so. The plan can be found at the Herricks website under the “School Reopening Plan” tab. I understand that you may still have questions about this school year, please be patient as we continue to navigate through this uncharted territory.

I will strive to establish a learning community comprised of individuals with varying learning styles, personalities, interests and history. I hope to help assist them in the journey of becoming a self-motivated learner, critical thinker, and problem solver. Although I will only have your child for a short period of time, I hope to make a contribution that lasts a lifetime.
