Changemakers are students who see problems in their communities and choose to act. Examples of student changemaking may be  organizing a food bank, volunteering at pet shelters,  or fundraising for cancer research. 

You may not arrive as a changemaker, but you can leave as one.

If you haven't been active, but you're interested or passionate about problem-solving and improving your community and the world around you, this conference is a place for you! The Changemaker Conference welcomes both experienced and aspiring changemakers. 

During the CM Conference 2027, we want you to DO—we’ll focus on opening your S.N.A.C.K. box in order to find active ways to make change around you through Sports, Nature, Arts, Creativity, and Knowledge.

The Changemaker Conference is a student-led conference that offers a platform for young leaders to share their expertise, voice, and passion with peers on how to make positive, long-lasting change.

50-minute sessions are hosted by students or adults on a variety of topics surrounding the environment, society, economy, and well-being. Before the conference, you will have the opportunity to select which workshops you would like to attend. 

They are different from speaker sessions in length but are also more dynamic, with relevant activities prepared for up to approximately 15 workshop participants. Fill out the form on the website (changemakers.earth) if you wish to host a workshop!

During speaker sessions, all conference participants gather in the theatre to listen to engaging presentations by students and keynote speakers. At previous conferences these were known as ‘fire-starter’ presentations, as the intent is to inspire and stimulate our delegates.
