An in-person workshop to explore 3 new tools for collaborating digitally with your students. You may already be familiar with Google Docs, but that's not the only tool that allows for effective collaboration. You will use these tools to create engaging activities for students.

Discover fun and easy methods to promote best practices and high-quality physical education utilizing a free curriculum resource(OPENphysed.org). Nick will also incorporate SEL. He will introduce skills from the affective domain to illustrate the importance of perseverance in the face of individual and cooperative challenges. Show your students how physical education is "Better than Ever!"

Learn specific strategies for helping students take ownership over their learning
Learn how to increase student engagement and co-operation
Learn how high-yield engagement strategies can bring excitement to the math class

Stress is defined as our reactions to change. Like everything else, we can learn how to master our stress in the classroom and improve our professional practice. Participants will view episodes of the documentary Mismatched: Your Brain Under Stress by the American Institute of Stress and learn how to recognize their own levels of stress and cultivate understanding regarding the following topics: Stress and Health, Mind/Body Connection, Neurological Approaches to Self-Regulation, The Power of Play & Humor, & Unlocking the Power of Creativity.
