FAQs

Q: What does it mean that this conference is synchronous?

A: This conference is being run synchronously, so the sessions are live on Zoom. Sessions will not be recorded.

Q: Do I need to attend each session?

A: No. You may register for as many of the sessions as you would like. You may register for as many of the sessions that you can attend within the time frame of the conference day. The least number is one and the maximum is five sessions, including the Information session and Keynote presentation.

Q: How do I register?

A: You register by clicking the title of the session or the Register Here link under each session's image. You will be taken to Frontline Education (My Learning Plan). For assistance with how to register click here for extended directions and an example on using Frontline Education.

Q: I received a form error, how do I correct it? What does it mean?

A: Odds are this is on your end and needs to be fixed in order to receive approval from your administrator to attend. Usually, the most common error is not selecting or writing a provider on their in-district approval form or not selecting a reason for attending. Please check your submission for the conference and fix the form or contact your Frontline Administrator for support. You need to make sure you've completed all portions of the submission including the provider and reason for attending.

Q: Will CTLE Credits be provided for sessions that I complete?

A: Yes! All sessions are designed to take one hour and will be awarded one hour of CTLE credit. You must register for the Zoom session and complete the google feedback form for the day in order to receive this CTLE Credit. This form will be sent via Frontline after the event. Please make sure that when you join the Zoom sessions you have your first and last name on your account.

Q: How will I receive the Zoom link for the session?

A: Since the sessions are synchronous you will receive an email from Frontline Education with a Zoom link in order to join the session at the time it is occurring. You may also receive emails from Jennifer Stanton (jstanton@herkimer-boces.org) or Katie Jones (kjones@wswheboces.org) with information about your session and registration. Please make sure that when you join the Zoom sessions you have your first and last name on your account for attendance purposes.

Q: Can I register even if I don't have a MyLearningPlan account?

A: Yes, but you will need to create an account.

Q: How will I get my CTLE Certificate?

A: After attendance is completed you can revisit Frontline Education (My Learning Plan) and mark the session as done and print a certificate from there. Click here and go to page 6 to learn what to do after you attend a workshop and how to get your certificate.

Q: Why didn't I receive an email from Frontline Education?

A: You either didn't register or it went to your spam mail. First, check your registration status, then check your spam mail. Also, please know that Zoom links will be sent to participants 24-48 hours in advance of the session.
